Well where are you practicing? You're leaving us on a limb here and I have a law office I need to mail spoiled eggs to.

Giving no clues as to my whereabouts, Bubba.
I'll say this much: I practice law in the United States and my desk is wooden. Weird, I know.

Still didn't make it to a Besh restaurant. Here was this weekend's New Orleans itinerary:
Saturday
Country Club-Drag Brunch. Bloody Mary's and bottomless mimosas. Great food. (I had SO with me, but if I was a single man, I would have gotten 2-3 other guys and gone to this event. There were 6 bachelorette parties there.)
Markey's next to CC. Strong drinks.
Napoleon House to meet friends. Pimms Cup.
Golden Lantern. Apparently this is a gay bar. Good Bloody Mary's and strong drinks.
Pizza Delicious. A slice and wine. Other customers bought us more wine for helping them find a ring that fell off a lady's finger.
The Franklin. Good food and service. More drinks and wine.
Erin Rose for some sort of frozen coffee drink. Good stuff.
Pizza Delicious for a whole pizza to take home.
Sunday
Paladar 511 for brunch. Good Bloody Mary's and food.

Paladar is great, one of the most underrated places in NOLA

It was great. The Franklin was good, too. We've been trying to stick to Bywater places, but our friends got us over into the Marigny this past weekend. Looking forward to finding some other good spots in both neighborhoods.

How you liking the new job Whistlin?
Posted on 2/1/17 at 6:47 am to WhistlinDixie15
Will do. We're down there quite a bit these days. We leased a place in the Bywater for the year instead of taking a big summer vacation.

You ever venture to Mid-City?
Worked there for a year and a half while in school. Grew to love the neighborhood.
Mick's on Bienville is a great little dive bar. One of my favorite bars in the city. Wit's Inn isn't bad either. The Beach Corner has a killer cheeseburger.
Blue Dot Donuts is awesome too. I found the bacon maple donut to be too rich, but that may just be me.
Juan's is right there too. GOAT margaritas.
Venturing a little further towards Uptown, you have Katie's, one of the city's finest brunch spots, and Finn's, home of the best Irish beer selection in town. That place is a Mongolian clusterfrick on St. Patty's though.
It's a nice neighborhood. Maybe we'll meet up sometime next weekend and grab a cold one after playing a quick 18 at City Park? Sound doable?
We don't have to go to all those places. Just reminiscing
