Have not but have always wanted to go. If you are serious about going I would do so ASAP. I heard some rumblings that it may not be around for much longer.

Hmmmm.. have not. I've been to the jazz market in the same area. I'm heading down there tomorrow but was planning on staying in the Bywater that evening. May venture that direction, though.

Did not make it to Primitivo. Stayed in the Bywater. Bacchanal and Elizabeth's. Going back again this weekend for 2 nights. May check it out then, but I'm trying to hit every spot in the Bywater right now. It didn't look like it was too hard to get reservations at Primitivo per Open Table.

Never made it this weekend. Was in town with clients so let them choose. Heading to Oxford this weekend. Plan on being there all weekend. Staying at the Graduate but what, if any, new restaurants (other than the City Grill) would you guys recommend taking clients too?

I'm a traditionalist. Don't mess with what works.

I only do sweet tea or Anheuser-Busch products for alcohol and corn and potatoes with squeeze butter handy all consumed over newspaper spread.

Did you find anything/try anything?

I'm heading there in next 2-3 weeks for business and would like to try something new.

I still haven't made it to Primitivo. We ate at the Joint in the Bywater last Friday night. Food was meh. I thought it was going to be a true joint, but it was hipster heaven, run by hipsters.

Had to get back to MS early on Saturday due to tornadoes. Going back down to Nola on Saturday morning and heading to the Country Club for the drag brunch... we'll see how that goes.

I spent most my time talking to customers at the Hotel bar when down there. Did find out that my colleague in New Orleans has the best hook up at any Besh restaurant which I plan to abuse frequently going forward

I have yet to go to any Besh restaurant. Domenica apparently has some great pizza happy hour during the week, and Luke is supposed to have great oysters. I always end up at hole in the wall places.

Definitely try out one. He is one of my favorite Chefs. Luke is fantastic, Domenicas is the best pizza I have outside of Italy and August is my favorite fine dining restaurants in New Orleans. Can't wait to try Shaya the next time I am down.

I recently tried Cochon and La Boca for the first time.

La Boca was good, but Cochon was great.

Not sure where I'm going tonight, but I will be in town for a campaign fundraiser so it should be fancy

Peche >>> Cochon as far as Donald Link Restaurants.

If yall are going to eat seafood do yourselves a favor and go to Peche. Its relatively easy to get a table and its fairly casual for the caliber of food they put out.

Peche is AWESOME.

Superior Seafood is good for the price. I love Casamento's as well; great old school vibe.

We can go on and on about tGOAT New Orleans restaurant. It would take days

FWIW, I think Mandina's is my favorite restaurant in the City. The fried eggplant at Mandina's is downright sinful, and I'm not even that religious. Used to grub there just about every Friday with my old boss, a comically stereotypical New Orleans plaintiffs' attorney. The booze flowed like wine, and we kept Uber and United Cab busy, to say the least.

Damn, I miss living in New Orleans
