This series is on the offense. You can’t have your 2-5 hitters struggle the way ours have. I get that Elko is a captain and has preseason accolades but if he needs to be moved down in the lineup until he starts hitting. If he doesn’t, give mccants some time. I think Elko will break out of the slump, but he might be pressing too much in that cleanup spot.

That was one of the sloppiest wins I've ever seen. I'll take it though. Hopefully UCF has depleted their pitching for the next game.

Announcers did not mention it but I believe Sammons replaced Leatherwood in the field in the previous inning
