It would also appear we had little to no chance at playing our way into a national seed regardless of how we did at the SEC tournament.

State is ranked higher, their regional should be easier. We need to win 3 straight games at home against teams we are better than. It’s as simple as that. Diamond and McDaniel pitch like they did last week and it shouldn’t be a problem.

I doubt we throw Nikhazy Friday. I wonder if we use Diamond to open up the weekend?

I would hope we throw Diamond Friday. Their starter Dylan Dodd has pretty good numbers but has only faced 1 team that has a pulse. Went 6 innings against Arky and only allowed 2 runs on 3 hits. Has went at least 5 innings in every outing. That said, our bats should not get shut down by him.

Tennessee was ranked higher than State and their regional is much more difficult. We have three top 25 team in Oxford.
