Is that why he's not playing.... might as well play if it's your last time in the uniform. Risk injury isn't like it is in football

Shuler is in Las Vegas because his mom is having surgery. Team has played great basketball in the last 6 minutes without White. That’s a good sign for next year.

We have only 8 scholarship players and are winning by 10 at half. White has barely played because of foul trouble.

If this were the NCAA tournament, both Shuler and even ol Buffen would be playing you can bet your arse on that. I guess I understand. It's just where we are.

Hats off, I guess, to Romello White for even playing in this game, but he flat let that freshman from Tech push him around. We were just too depleted to beat a team that had all the incentive to beat a team from a major conference. It's just the NIT, but it sure was a disheartening way to end a season that was supposed to be so much better. I really want to like basketball, but sometimes I wonder why.

Kermit is either going to have to change his recruiting philosophy or he probably won’t last long at Ole Miss. Crowley was a 4 star guard that has been terrible and his staff has very little success recruiting high school. This is his 4th year and we probably need three or 4 transfers to be a decent team next year. It’s like the football program signing 8 juco players trying to fix the roster in one year.

I grew up watching Duke basketball, it's pretty fun when your team can win 66% of its conference games every year

Out of curiosity, say Kermit has a shite year next year and we part ways while Florida also parts ways with Mike White. Would y'all go after White?

We would have to be god awful for Kermit to get fired next year. It would be like 2-16 or worse in conference play for it to happen. Keith Carter will definitely call Mike White if Kermit gets fired in 2 years. Florida and Mike White feel like it very much could end in the next two years. If he doesn’t go on a deep NCAA tournament run next year his seat starts getting warm. I could see a situation in 2 years he takes the Ole Miss job a year before Florida might fire him.
