He should be starting. He has power and speed and looked like the better back. Thoughts?

Coaches gonna start and or give the most touches to the guy who is the best each day in practice, etc. I trust their judgement. That said, Snoop looked great. It’s a great problem to have multiple backs who can go.

He reminds me of Deuce. He can just bowl people over. We haven't had a back like that in a long time. Ealy was a disappointment yesterday. Ealy is good but Snoop was a monster.

The carries went with 12 for Ealy, 8 for Parrish, and Snoop had 8 in the game. Early touched the ball a total of 15 times which is fine with me. He adds something to the passing game. Snoop should be getting more carries than Parrish and sharing the load with Ealy. I’m not sure why they’re higher on Parrish over Snoop.

As the season unfolds each of the backs will have their moments. Ealy is just so versatile. Snoop might be the best pure ball carrier. Parrish is great but he needs to work on recognizing where the blitz is coming from and picking up the block. He missed a couple

^^^ yeah definitely more to playing running back than carrying or catching the ball.

Ealy still had 90 yards and a score. His versatility makes him too valuable in our offense to not start, not that it really matters who the starter is

Snoop is better than Parish right now though, that is for sure

I don't know, but we still don't have a good short yardage run game, and he would be the best for that. Line up qb under center put a fullback in there; we could run awesome boots and play action off that too. I hate seeing us lineup the qb in the shotgun five yards back on the goal line.

We scored a touchdown from two yards out running a heavy set with 3 people in the backfield....

We did, first touchdown. Forgot about that one. Did we run that formation last year? Snoop ran through a guy. Hope we keep that play in our arsenal.

He runs angry and maybe that fourth string designation provided a little something extra. It’s weird actually having legitimate options in the backfield though.

Not sure if anyone caught his pep talk from the RB coach on the sideline….sounds like they listed him 4th string to get his attention.

Saw that and thought the same. That could be the pivotal moment in his career that could be the difference between the NFL and one more in a long line of USP stars moving back to Batesville after college.

Very much so. There were many Conners at SP when I was there in late 90s. Add "Snoop" Brassell and it really makes it seem like he's from there.

He was in the dog house last night and he coughed up the ball near the endzone.

So this thread is now irrelevant.
