This is the area that we need to improve the most. I was surprised that Parrish got the start over Bentley but they both got plenty of carries.

I thought we did fine. When your passing game is as insane as ours is, it’s hard not to utilize it as much as we did

Think they are just saving Bentley.
Parrish may be the more complete back.
I’m more worried about pass protection from the RB’s. Hopefully we can get Diggs back later in the season.

I spent most of the game closely watching certain positions for a while then moving on to others. I looked a lot at the RBs for the first couple of drives and saw them do a solid job at picking up blitzes.

The one that stood out to me is Bentley getting rocked on a blitz. Siskey mentioned it on Neal’s post game show.

Parrish did a much better job on blitzes than he did the last time he was here. Hoping lane is just letting them rest up for conference play and making sure the O Line can practice pass pro.

Hopefully it’s a case of wanting them to take a minimal amount of hits so their bodies are fresher come the end of the season when most other teams are banged up

Anyone have any inside source on Logan Diggs. I know he’s coming off surgery but are we expecting a return from him anytime during the season?

Hopefully we can get by with the backs we have now till then. He’ll be an automatic factor if healthy, running back is our weakest strength right now very average.

I wouldn't count on Diggs much for the regular season.
