Reintroducing my idea for ultimate College Gameday Guest Picker- The Muppets

So I spouted out this idea a few years back where it was likely we were going to get College Gameday for the second time before Auburn snapped Treadwell’s ankle ruining the season, but we’re not going to top Katy Perry in terms of star power as far as a picker. Yeah one of the Mannings, or Morgan Freeman or someone like that we could get, but it’s just going to be a shell of Katy Perry being up there. However we could go in a completely different and unorthodox approach that could outshine Katy Perry in a completely different manner: The Muppets.
Technically Kermit and Miss Piggy would be the guest pickers, but we’d have a story where the entire gang follows them down to Oxford and take over the Grove. Think of the possibilities:
-Fozzie as the Grove reporter and Gonzo as the Square reporter where he does a ragger with Rizzo the Rat the night before and ends up back at the Inn at Ole Miss with Camilla the Chicken
-John Currance and the Swedish Chef making Shrimp and Grits using Pepe the Prawn as the ingredient
-Dr Teeth and the Electric Mayhem on the Double Decker Bus doing the opening
-Animal running through the Grove chasing coeds screaming “Woman Woman!”
-Rowlf playing Dixie (not likely) and other old time Southern songs
-Scooter and Bobo the Bear in the back with Bear making predictions
-Statler and Waldorf holding up heckling signs and also getting into it with Corso
-Sports Science with Dr Bunson Honeydew and Beaker
-Sam the Eagle saluting the National Anthem
-Every commercial go to a random tent with a random Muppet in there doing something insane
-Sweetums crashing the very end once Corso puts on the Mascot’s head after being left behind by the rest of the Muppets from the beginning of the show
I’m sorry, maybe I got this thought once on acid, but the next day it was still an awesome idea. It would highlight every positive aspect of Oxford, Ole Miss, and the Grove. Hell Miss Piggy if you had to guess which college she went to everyone would immediately say Ole Miss simply due to her narcissism and false entitlement. Plus we have a head coach named Kermit. It’s perfect!
Jim Henson is from Mississippi, so it works as a connection. And Disney owns both ESPN and the Muppets, so rights aren’t the issue. ESPN, please feel free to completely rip me off here.

Pretty cool. I think I like it

Would be epic but would take too long to coordinate I think. One weeks notice is too much unless you could get them all in on the idea.

While I like the idea, how many boards have you posted this on
I feel like I have seen it on 3 boards already.

Potentially Patrick Willis, Eli and Peyton, I think a past player is more likely.

Don’t overcomplicate this.
There is only one answer considering the opponent:

Reason I did it because they pretty much had to get the ball rolling yesterday for this to happen.

How stupid is it to have your HC as the guest picker.... heck, could Eli not even fly in?

Yea someone needs to explain what happened here. There are plenty of people that could have e done this.

Should’ve let Lauren Alainas thick arse do the picks.. she’s playing outside the stadium anyway pregame

Or Archie or Morgan Freeman? Hell even Cooper for God’s sake. I know my idea was extremely ambitious and they’d have to start getting their shite together on Sunday of even hoping of achieving it, but it’s as if they didn’t even try at all or spend a dime on it.

I'd put money on ESPN wanted Lane to do it. Sports media is in love with Lane and loves to give him attention.

Herbstreet talked about it during the game. Said it’s the only time a team’s head coach was the guest picker the day of the game. I didn’t see it but heard he was entertaining.
