I figure it's too late for a bunch of "commitments", but hopefully we convinced some guys to sign. At this point if they aren't committed, they are waiting until nsd, most likely

SDoes anyone know if this picture on a potential croot’s Twitter is something a fan did (fan edit) or something the school is doing for lots of kids we want?

Not sure if anyone has heard but one of the guys we were recruiting passed away yesterday. Planned on visiting next weekend.
No details on the circumstances of his death, was a soft commit to ULL and thought about flipping to us. Just a sad situation all around, prayers to his family.
Twitter post from his HS team

RIP Devin Winters

9 spots left maybe more if grade risks don't pan out; we are lacking lb and oline; hope we get this guy:

Huge DT

Can we get Ruggs?

I haven’t a clue what is going on because there is little to no talk on here and all the 24/7 stuff is now behind pay walls (and there is no way in hell I would pay for it based on the quality of posters over there....most of them are about ignorant when it comes to general football knowledge).

Missing out on Cam'Rom or however it is spelled was a loss. Hope we can close out strong defensively and add a few more Olinemen.

According to 247 we received a commit from Kevontae' Ruggs this weekend. He looks like a really good pickup at linebacker.

The fact he was being slow played by Bama should tell you that he was a solid pick up. I also liked his feedback on our new LBer Coach.

I'd like to get this board moving a little more. This class isn't bad at all considering the situation we were/are in.

What players should we be excited about for next year?
Anyone wanna guess who's the sleeper in this class?

I really like Kevontae' Ruggs as a sleeper this year. He's a good athlete with a great frame to add strength.

Yeah I'm sure he will have to red shirt though no way you can play LB being 6ft 4" and less than 200 pounds.

Anyone else?

He goes about 210. But yeah, definitely needs about 10-15 more.

3* OT Hamilton Hall out of Atlanta (some school I’ve never heard of) committed this morning. He has 16 offers, including some P5, but State and us are his only SEC offers

I watched his film and think he is a legit project. Looks like he was the most athletic OL on his HS team. Thus they had him at guard because their O was built around pulling OGs. Likes pancakes so much he goes down with them, needs a better Hand strike and will really have to work on his footwork/pad level. But not many 6’5 / 315 lbs that can move out there.

I think the defensive front 7 is the headline of this class. We've got 8 players committed for those positions at the moment. I really like the prep defensive lineman we have signed with Williams, Hill and Bivens. Hope to add Fabien Lovett to that group.

I like Jonathan Hess a lot but I’m not sure if he’ll stick at linebacker. He might grow into a defensive end.
