If this case makes it to discovery then NCAA and State will be wetting their britches trying to keep Terry away from their internal communications. The fact that the NCAA didn’t just remove him from the sanctions in the first place shows what a load of horse shite the whole investigation was. If their case against us was strong on its own merits 600 dollars in merchandise is nothing comparatively.

Meanwhile, they did not care about cash payments from other schools to recruits. I hope this shite gets blown wide open. I really hope this opens the case for Ole Miss legally against the NCAA... but we don't have the leadership for that.

Absolutely agree on all points except one. Our administration doesn’t have to be a party to blow it open. If Terry gets into the NCAA through discovery they’ll try to settle faster than Jim Carrey in liar liar

I hope Terry goes scorched earth no matter what settlement option they throw at him. I understand the NCAA would have the ability to throw an insane number at him to make him stop but I feel like the pressure he will receive to reject the settlement from ole miss fans will be equally strong. Plus that dude would be the biggest hero in the world to Ole Miss fans if he got the NCAA’s emails released and they show how big of a sham this whole deal was/is. It would be the biggest sports story in my lifetime. That money he was going to get in settlement would be made up for by the loyalty we would have to him and his business.

If Terry is able to uncover collusion between NCAA and State (only takes one ill phrased email), then Ole Miss would be able to sue the hell out of the NCAA and other parties for lost revenue and punitive damages. The NCAA has already taken one step in back pedaling by claiming they made no accusations about Rebel Rags (even though they were absolutely named). My guess, however, is that the NCAA will be unable to produce emails as they'll have suddenly been lost. They know damn well they overstepped and made it personal. If it's proven in court that they knowingly lied, then they are fricked on many different levels.

Could we start a go fund me page to help take the sting off of not accepting a massive settlement?

I’d throw a 100 at him to watch the NCAA burn.

From my understanding there’s not a number he’ll accept from them now. They made it personal messing with his livelihood and I hope he tears them a few new sphincters before he’s done.

The NCAA will be deleting emails faster than Bob Mueller was deleting the Strozk/Page emails.

Emails are still out there and can be recovered. I hope they burn Mark Emmert and the thugs of the NCAA. It should be abolished.

Yeah, I never got how almost everyone knew LSU and State offered money to Leo Lewis but seemingly only we got popped. Wtf

But, I don’t think that a us giving the NCAA a black eye is going to make anything better. We won’t get reparations. And it’s like when your accused of a crime you’re on the front page, but when you’re exonerated you’re on page 7. Does it really matter? Too little too late, bros.

Yeah actually it helps. For one more people and schools will want out from under it because it will be so obvious how corrupt it is. Most people actually LOL think they level the playing field. The truth hurts college sports all around. Plus if Crooked Mark is forced out Saban would quit.
