Phil Longo’s offense doesn’t work against good teams.

His offense just throws it deep or runs WR screens. Last night we had some success on the ground but completely abandoned it early. Any defense we play that we clearly aren’t more talented than we struggle.

I posted this exact topic not that long ago. But you're right. Don't worry, we'll probably blow out some schmuck like ULM and the spirit crowd will be energized and sunshine pumping soon enough again.

Kinda like how his offense at SHSU was "badass" and the coaches hinted for us to watch them play James Madison to see how our offense was going to look and then SHSU proceeded to get wrecked by James Madison. Yea who saw this coming

I'm not quite ready to give up on the offense yet. We had a very (I hope) uncharacteristic amount of drops in the LSU game. We actually ran the ball ok. I don't think you can put drops on the play calling, but if the trend continues then I don't know.

I'm more frustrated with the lack of discipline which is directly attributed to the coaching.
