I just hope we bring in a DC. The head coach acting as a coordinator rarely works. I understand going that route for the playoffs but for the longterm, that's not going to work.

If we are looking at bringing those 2 in that’s not a good sign for us keeping Chambliss, Simmons and Wright.

This is a very small man we’re dealing with. Trinidad isn’t leaving a playoff team to make his move and there’s no guarantee he can even make the move.

Aside from all that, players only have 4-5 years (arguably 1-2) to set themselves up financially for life. I’m never going to hate a player for making a financial decision. Totally different for coaches with 30 year careers lol.

Next year they will be lucky to get a bowl game. Lane is so focus on what we are doing..

He can either go to LSU and be in a system he for sure knows and performs well in or say he's for sure coming here when he just met our OC like a day ago. Obviously he's gotta consider everything.
While I would like to keep Chambliss and Lacy and whatever WRs that may also leave, most of these kids were not here last year and were just scooped up in the portal. Chambliss was in d2 and Lacy was a backup at Missouri.
It will suck to lose them if they leave but we'll find more players
