Any decent stores around Oxford with a yuge selection of beers? Looks like there were some good ones years ago but have since closed.

Chevron has anything you’ll need. Nobody needs IPAs or anything stupid like that.

ETA: Good lord I pissed off some IPA lovers I guess

Jackson Beer Co was where I always went - but I'm not aware of anything now that they are closed.

Ugh that's lame. I enjoy following breweries and grabbing new releases to try. We just moved from Madison so I'm spoiled with LD's and Barley's down there.

Oh I loved JBC too.. Alan did a great job with that place.. although when OPD came up and basically raided his business and shut him down temporarily because he was *legally* selling open containers in the store.
OPD didn’t know the rules, shocker,

I can’t blame him that he shut it down not much longer after that. Would’ve soured my relationship with the business as well.

Wasn't aware they had issues like that - don't blame them for closing if that's what they were up against.

Amit's store where Thacker meets 6 always had a solid craft selection. Sad to hear JBC closer, spent a lot of money there.

Larson's grocery is the best I've found. Not terrible...

The Chicory Market has a very small selection of beers, but it's beers you normally won't find anywhere else in town.
