My very close friend who is an ex-player (whitey that barely played) and keeps in touch with the program said he has heard this and it was confirmed to him:
- 3 are Tunsil and are the serious ones
- 5 are FCA person, who was deemed a booster, giving rides to Oxford for games
- 1 is CJ Hampton receiving illegal contact in HS
Didn't say the rest.

3+5+1=9
Plus the 4 from Saunders.
That seems to be the breakdown of the 13.
The serious one(s) being Tunsil and/or Saunders (though you could argue that we turned him in after firing him 6+yrs ago).
I could see scholarship/visit reductions and a couple years probation, but nothing serious as a postseason ban or even vacated wins

Everyone in Oxford should boycott Cannon Motors.

So no one has a clue.
Here is my thought. Just a guess though.
My thought is the unidentified anonymous source was in fact OM getting the story out now. Brandt is a fair national writer who wouldn't put a lot of negative spin on the story. So he gets the breaking news, OM gets the story told in a favorable manner leaving grey areas.
Could it have been a coincidence? Maybe. I'm of the opinion it probably was planned. If its going to come out anyway why not have it delivered fairly...

I think we should stop trying to spin this positively. This isn't good. Let's let it play out.

What part of this is a big deal?
We are not charged with failure to oversee. Which means no LOIC. Freeze is not involved personally. The most serious allegations are Tunsil and have been addressed.
How is any of this a bad case scenario?

We self reported the majority of this. We've already self penalized ourselves for most of this. Most of the reported violations are minor in detail

If Ole Miss is penalized for anything concerning Tunsil, does Ole Miss have a right to sue the NCAA? Since they approved the 7 game suspension and gave Tunsil the go ahead to play?
