Which would never happen. He’s either here or he’s not.

I don’t see how you pass up the playoffs for a possibility at another school and I’m not sure he would survive the shitstorm of negativity that’s going to come from that. He’d get eviscerated and would continue until he made the playoffs.

Prediction, who the frick knows. It makes sense to stay but that would also be WAOM to lose him.

I think we know the true most WAOM ending. We keep him and get beat next week.

If our defense doesn't get their their shite together, that's a big possibility.

I don’t think with their offensive line we have much to worry about. We should play 3 down lineman and drop 8 back into coverage. They will be fricked

The one guy they have that concerns me is that receiver that runs a 4.25 or whatever. Our DBs have been caught flat footed a lot this year and if they do that against him, he will be 10-15 yards behind them before they even adjust

I have faith we will be OK, even if Lane leaves. I would prefer him stay, but I think Keith is handling this correctly.

Either Lane is staying or he is going to quit on his team and tarnish his image forever. Carter put all the pressure back on Kiffin. If he bolts there will be two schools pissed off at him, with one rivaling and surpassing the hatred the Tennessee fans have for him. The other will eventually find a plan B coach and the anger will fade over time. If he stays, a year from now it will just be the Vols that still despise him, which will be offset by the Rebel love he has been given.

I am not sure where he decides, but finding another coach to slot in should not be a problem. Simply put, we have a great AD and NIL system that others try to model. While a CLK is a hard person to replace, everyone is always replaceable.

I am curious if Lane's self growth books cover the topic of abandoning the ones that turned your life around.

I would like to keep the troll until the program is well established as a contender and just as relevant without his presence. I think we are almost but not there yet.

I did have a Bobleedagger moment last evening.

Kiffin bolts, we lose the egg bowl in a heartbreaker but still make the 12 team playoff as the last team in. Ohio State was eliminated along the way by some other team and we make it to the end and win a Natty - all while Kiffin watches from the comfort of his mansion in FL/LA?TX. WAOM.

Don't know what is it is about us not having a punt returner that can't catch a a freaking ball.

With our luck, it’ll be Sage Ryan out back there.

Trey has been fine all year except that one frick up.

We could go 10 years without a muffed punt though and my arse will still be puckered expecting a fumble

Apparently, once again, Lane has signed a contract with both LSU and Florida today.

The CC board is wild.
