We are good at making all-stars out of random opponents.

I do wonder how long of a leash Hooks will have. He's hung a couple of breaking balls already.

I have no idea why I was actually confident about this game.

We need to let them score a few more runs so that when we mount a comeback, it will be a run or two shy. I'm about to be that guy and just turn off the game.

Assuming this holds I'm back on the fire Bianco train for loosing a home regional by loosing twice to the 4 seed.

I try and defend bianco but really need someone to tell me why we went with hooks to start the is game instead of Morris. Morris threw 50 pitches on Friday and we went with a freshman instead of our best or 2nd best pitcher. Silva threw 84 pitches Saturday but their coach realized this is win or go home.

Waited til hooks gave up 8 hits and 5 fricking runs to make the switch. Just don't get what we're doing.

Should’ve went to Morris when it was 3 to 0. Zero urgency from the coaching staff in this game.

I don't get why Bianco sent Hooks back out this inning.... But, too late now. Hopefully Morris can give us some innings and our offense will pull their heads out of their asses.

Bianco only coaches with urgency when his job is on the line and he's coaching like he's been told he's safe

Once they scored 2, he should have been pulled. When they key in on a guy, change the guy. This isn't a midweek game even if it is a midweek level opponent.

We need a real shortstop.

Bianco's gamble didn't pay off. You should start your best pitcher regardless of matchups.

His gamble is one thing but why did he keep him in? This is a burn the bullpen game. Why he kept Hooks in there so long is beyond me.

Someone else said it but I agree that Bianco doesn't coach with any sense of urgency unless his job is on the line. If he pulled hooks after giving up 2 or 3 runs he was admitting he made a mistake, if hooks could have gone another 2 innings and only given up the 2 or 3 runs he was right. He was willing to take that chance.

Bingo. We’ll never get rid of that fricker no matter how many times he chokes

I’m sorry to break it to you, but we’re going to lose 5-1.

Slowly clawing our way back. Their starter who threw 120 pitches the other day will probably come in soon.
