Landon Waters.

He's actually pitched for us a bit this year in competitive games and hasn't been that bad. Surprising he hasn't been out there much recently.

Who in the heck do we have left to pitch tomorrow night? Just do it an inning at a time?

We actually won't be in that bad shape. Mason Morris will probably be able to go 3-5 innings. Connor Spencer could give us 1-2 innings. Will McCausland could probably give us an inning. That's just our top arms right there.

I expect Mason Morris to start for us.

Yeah, and it's not like Murray State has any pitchers left, either. Just as long as our bats don't go quiet.

Their pitchers threw the following:

35
31
35
18
21
50
30

They didn't really burn anyone. But who could they have left?

Knowing Bianco, he’ll trot Riley Maddox back out there again.

Our 3 best pitchers are Elliot, Morris and Spencer, 2 of those 3 will be available to pitch tomorrow and should be better than anyone they can throw at us.

Ideal scenario is 3-4 innings from Morris, and then 1-2 innings from each of rave, hooks, and Spencer.

I'm hoping that our bats stay alive. Let's put this thing to bed early like we did last night.

Kinda crazy based on the lack of pitching and the hot/cold bats that we're one win away from hosting a Super Regional...

Only 2 of 8 Supers are set. Lots of baseball left to play today.

NCAA BRACKET

Ball will be carrying out again this evening. Defense almost cost us against Tech. Can't give them extra outs tonight.

Furniss didn't take too kindly to you boys bashing him about his weight and speed. 6/9 with 2 HRs and 4 Walks yesterday. Hitting .500 with 4 XBHs this weekend. He and Judd are neck and neck for Regional MVP as it stands. But Hogart and Mercer would love to snatch that award away tonight.

We all play our part. If only very small.

I was actually just on the phone with a business partner of mine from east Texas. His son and Furniss are buddies. He was telling me what a big deal the dad was at LSU back in the day. I never knew the connection.

Anyhow I told him to tell the family that I enjoy watching them disco dance behind homeplate when he comes up to bat.

And to get him an extra slice of pie for lunch and I hope his fatass keeps hitting all the way through Omaha.

Well those 2 factors cost us some runs at the start of this game here

Leave it up to this team to let a scrub pitcher to shut us down.

I mean it's basically our tradition at this point. Gets hopes up. And then get abused by a sub-par pitcher when everything is on the line.
