We still have a long way to go. On the road at Oklahoma will be really tough then at MSU will be tough as well with them fighting for their NCAA tournament chances. They can really swing the bat too. Auburn at home is no piece of cake either.
I'd be ecstatic if we went 5-4 over the last 3 series, but that will be an extremely difficult task to accomplish.

5-4 and we definitely host, 4-5 and it is more likely than not. Hell 2-7 probably still gets us in the dance at least.
Sec probably gets 8 hosts and we close against 3 of the other 9 teams competing for those spots.

Feels like we will be a really high 2 seed or squeak in as the 16 seed hosting paired against the #1 Texas regional .

Guys, we are in 5th place in the SEC standings. Unless we just fall apart, we will be hosting.

Granted it could happen but there's 9 teams behind us in the standings and 3 tied with us. If you think we've underachieved, well, there's other teams that have underachieved worse than us.

I think we've overachieved - especially when you look at our starting pitching. But what is weird in saying that, is very poor coaching decisions have actually cost us games this year as well.

Here's another way to look at it.
There are 6 teams that have either our exact record, or a record one game behind us. Of those 6 teams, at least 2 and probably 3 will not host.
Considering the competition and that fact that we play 67% of our games on the road going forward, I would say our odds are about even

I would agree. I'm glad we have Auburn in Oxford, though. They have not been good on the road this season. I think we take 2 out of the last 3 series.

Baseball America moved us to 13 from 22 last week.

I don't think they hate us. I think it was a bloodbath for the top 25 and they simply didn't notice what we did.

Looks like D1 was just ranking us for next week making the assumption we would go 1-3 this week. What a pathetic performance from our bats so far tonight. Getting shut down by a JUCO pitcher.
