I have us going 35-21 (15-15)

Assumptions are we go 5-1 in midweek games and split the remainder of our conference schedule.

Two seed somewhere and an early exit

Looks like Riley Maddox has been moved into the Friday spot. Doyle will stay as the Saturday starter, and Gunnar Dennis going to the Sunday spot. Wish Bianco would find someone other than Dennis for that Sunday role - or just go with a plan to pitch one guy every inning.

Explains why Maddox didn’t pitch last Sunday. Bianco was resetting his schedule for the weekend rotation. Dennis could be decent on Sunday. Like how Diamond sucked on Friday but won a decent amount on Sunday.

What a God-awful inning. Errors giving them free runs with 2 outs.

Needed one clutch hit in the 9th to win the game against a closer who couldn't throw strikes

From chase parham

quote:

Kentucky beats Ole Miss 5-3, with 3 of the 5 runs unearned. The Wildcats won despite going 0-for-10 with runners on base. The Rebels allowed 2 runs on errors, one on a wild pitch and one on a passed ball. Ole Miss was 1-for-16 with runners on.

That is impressively bad all the way around

Really bad loss tonight. Gifted them 3 runs with wild pitches and an error. Also couldn’t get a clutch hit to save our lives

Next two games are must win games. Can’t afford to lose a series at home to a team like Kentucky.

I get that they were scored wild pitches and likely should have been… However.

Those were balls that probably would’ve been caught in past years. Smithwick has some growing to do.

Solid start and then we load the bases with 2 walks and a HBP with no outs. Not a good 2nd innings for Doyle.

For frick sakes Bianco. Why did you not take him out after that 3rd run? I'm done with Bianco. Fire him.

The team seems talented but just poorly coached. And Doyle had his worst outing of the year. More free bases today than the rest of the season for him combined.

Every inning we are in the field, it looks like the bad news bears

Every time.. you’ll look up and the ball will be by the dugouts as it’s been overthrown by someone or the ball is sailing into center field from a failed pickoff/throwdown from the catcher

We are looking at a 3-9 start to SEC play now. I have 0 confidence at winning a game with Gunnar Dennis on the mound or any game at Arkansas next weekend.

If you are a betting person then bet the farm on us not making postseason play this year.

Great way to set the tone for salvage Sunday !

3-0 cats in the 1st with 30 pitches thrown and Dennis didn’t even make it out of the first inning

Scratch that: it’s 5-0 now . Rebs have yet to bat today.

Christ can we cancel this season due to covid again?

Save everyone’s time and money
