Everyone got all excited taking 2 of 3 from South Carolina and now it’s back down to earth as everyone should realize they suck

I honestly think we might win 3 or 4 more SEC games. I think we get swept by Arkansas next weekend and then State will come to town and demolish our pitching and sweep us.

If Bianco is still our coach after we are swept by State no one should show up to the remaining games. Send the admin a message that Bianco should go.

Yeah the schedule is setup to where are about to get buried with L’s rapidly approaching

The crowd today was awful even though it was Easter but still . Perfect weather and it was a few thousand out there at best

I don't know that I can recall watching a team this bad defensively. Feels lucky if we go a full inning without an error.

And we'll officially be at the end of the DENNIS system - separate entirely.

Yeah, that's a pretty good reason. They should have scheduled this for Thurs - Sat.

I wish Bianco would go ahead and announce his retirement so we can get started putting out feelers to potential replacements. More than anything though I do hope he gets a nice send off, last season and this one have been awful but he’s our best ever coach and one of the best in SEC history. I know he’s pissed away some extremely talented teams/just gotten extremely unlucky come the postseason (05 Texas, 06 Miami, the Virginia nightmare, 18 TTU, 19 r Kansas, 21 Arizona) but he still got us to that position and we had some great regular seasons.
Dude deserves to have a nice reception from the fanbase. But it needs to happen sooner rather than later so that the atmosphere isn’t toxic and his legacy won’t be ruined in the eyes of some fans (a la Wenger if you’re a soccer follower)

totally agree. It's going to be a damned shame if it comes down to firing Bianco but a major change needs to occur. I don't think it should happen this week in case he manages to pull off another miracle but if we keep getting swept at home against mid-tier teams, there has to be some change.

I agree. His time has come and gone but by winning a NC, he deserves to have a couple of bad years. He basically built our program into what it is now but we need new blood in the program. He's losing at the portal game and he hasn't been able to land a solid pitching staff in years. It would be best for everyone if he would announce his retirement. Make the rest of the season about winning for Mike. Then, make a good hire and bring that excitement into the recruiting season.

I’m certainly not for running him out of town on a rail. He’s earned that and more. However, this thing has gotten stale, not to mention a touch embarrassing. Surely his exit can be discussed behind closed doors and executed gracefully and in the best interest of all parties.

Bianco brings in Gunnar Dennis with bases loaded in a 1 run game. What does he do? Give up 3 runs right away. Make that 4 just as I hit post.

Things like this is why Bianco should go.

Listening to Bianco on the radio now and he really sounds defeated

"We're not good enough

We aren't tough. We have it within us, but we won't allow it to come out. And that's my fault.

We don't have it. We don't have confidence. Some guys have it, but not enough at the plate. Not enough on the mound", etc etc etc.

He's done.
