We won’t shoot this poorly every conference game but yeah it was hard to watch. We had so many open looks not go in and memphis made everything they threw at the rim.

This will be Memphis’s most lopsided win outside of beating mighty Ohio 94-70 all season. This is not a great Memphis team and they just tapped our arse. This basketball team is nothing to get excited about in the least. But at least it’s a long season so maybe we can find something that puts us in a position to at least make the tournament. Otherwise, we are just shite as usual. However, I don’t think we are worth a damn right now. Prove me wrong.

Didn’t this Memphis team beat UConn? They’re not a bad team.

Memphis also beat Michigan State, Missouri, Clemson, and Virginia. 3 of those games were on the road or on a neutral site. Memphis is a very good basketball team when they are on.

So would you say we are an 8 win SEC team right now? If we are are lucky? It’s gonna take that to get us to the tournament. Anything less probably is NIT.

I predict we will finish 8-10 or 9-9. It's a tossup for either one in my opinion.

I actually kind of agree with this. We’re an undersized team and rely heavily on not turning it over and forcing turnovers. I’m not sure that’s going to work all year. We have no rim protection and struggle to rebound. The more I watch this team the more I have my doubts about it.

He won’t play as well as he did today again this season. If he does, I’ll buy you a SuperSonic with cheese, large fry and tater tots at the establishment of your choice.

Cisse

He looks like he gained 25 pounds since he left.

Maybe Memphis put him on that "rigorous off-season conditioning program". Must have spent the summer in Miami

Why do we get all these 7 ft guys but are beam poles who can’t fill the paint? We haven’t had a presence down low since maybe Buckner.

We look so flat footed on offense.

Maybe Georgia is having something to do with it, but we just don’t look very good in general. We are definitely not in a good point right now in our season.

Our offense and rebounding is atrocious. We have a long way to go to do much this season

I hate to say it, but it just feels like Murrell is gonna be saddled with this bad knee all season. You can very much see he is not nearly as explosive as we are accustomed to seeing.

We just self-inflicted a tie.... seems fitting

Dia is an absolute monster. He need to be more aggressive down low.

They were talking about Bol on the broadcast. True freshman who weighed 185# on his visit and weighs #230 today including having gained 10 pounds over Christmas break. He could be a 265# body in two years. But he won't be that kind of presence this year

This team is playing much better so far this half. Best 8 minutes of basketball we've played this year

Edit: and we proceed to immediately let UGA go on a 9-0 run (and counting) to give it all back
