I sure hope he isn't leaving and our team is focused because we are going to get the best from Arkansas and State to close the season.

Yep it would be major deflation. The crowd for the Egg bowl would be pretty slim I would imagine.

Unfortunately, nothing will be announced until then, so it hangs over our head like the Sword of Damocles. I hope our team is focused. We are in for a street fight Saturday night and on Thanksgiving.

Things I didn't know I'd think about today: The Cask of Amontillado.

I don't think I'll watch OM football for a few years if Kiffin leaves and all our best players xfer.

I'll be done. There's no point in giving a shite if something like that can happen at any moment.

pretty sure what was stated earlier was correct in that you only get one free transfer then you have to sit out.

What we need to hope for is it to be true that Kiffin's buyout to leave is as high as it's been rumored to be. That capitol will be huge for trying to a new quality coaching staff.

Usually, we're paying massive sums for people to leave and that limits who we can afford.

You can also transfer as a grad transfer but don't think that would apply to either player.

Had the same thought. Truly a bull shite sport if a coach can leave for another job and torpedo their competition in the process.

Some of you seem to be forgetting that WAOM, and anytime a player wants to transfer from Ole Miss and play immediately they end up getting some sort of waiver.

But when the roles are reversed and a player transfers here their playing status remains undecided for 364 days before being approved.

Can we please keep the coach talk under the Lane Kiffin contract thread and leave this for football game discussion?

The Road Rebs will look like the Road Rebs this weekend, with a navy lid, white jersey, and gray pants. This will be the first time we've worn this get-up this season, the first time since last season's Egg Bowl, and the second time under Lane Kiffin.

Good. A traditional shake up might be what we need.

Memphis to Little Rock is the worst stretch of highway in the US.

It’s close. The only stretch that sucks more for me is Kansas City to Omaha. Shreveport to Dallas is pretty rough too
