I mean he threw 440 yards & 3 td's last year & we still found a way to win. Corral or someone will definitely have to step up & have a good game on offense if he does that again (which he likely will).

I’d much rather play an offense like State where we can rush 3 and drop 8 all game. Our defense isn’t very good but that at least plays to our depth chart somewhat. Especially when you consider that Rogers isn’t a threat to get outside the pocket and run. He may throw for 450 and 5 TDs and we get boatraced but Vegas seems to know what they’re doing. The $ will be on MSU +2. If there was ever a game for Lane to take the 3 points when it’s there this is it. That’s what worries me.

My thoughts exactly. In addition Durkin will play a defense more in line with how we played ATM with more stunts, blitzes and aggression. Anyone basing opinion on what we saw against Vandy is probably mistaken.

Yeah this is my thing. I definitely don't see us shutting MSU down, but they are not the kind of team that our defense has shown weakness towards. Mobile QBs have given us fits. And not just mobile, but speedy ones.
Vandy's guy, Wright, ate us alive because he was fast AF. Our defense was actually in position a lot all night, but he just beat them to the edge. Rogers SHOULDN'T do that. He may surprise me, but I don't see it.
That being said, he's a great QB. I've been super impressed with State's offense and Leach is a good coach. It's gonna be a dogfight and I wish it wasn't in Starkville.

Anybody else can’t seem to get a feeling on how this game will go? Posting here cause the State board is on life support.
The sentiment of OM being flat against Vandy as a bad thing is misguided IMO. It just tells me y’all did one day of prep against a glorified FCS team in Vandy and then started prep for the air raid/3-4 defense the rest of the week.
Corral always plays with a chip on his shoulder and should be extra focused since this is his last game and for what happen in 2019.
Leach is 0-1 against y’all and we all know his record against UW while he was with the cougs.
It’s looking like wet and cold on Thanksgiving, I can’t help but feel like that is an advantage for y’all. We have a bunch of momentum and Rogers is playing out of his mind but the State fan in me says he’s due for a down game.
My prediction: I hope y’all’s turkey is overcooked and dry

Leach was 1-7 against the Huskies.
Texas Tech has numerous rivals, but no real primary rival. Here is Leach's record against them when he was in Lubbock.
- Baylor - 10-0
- TCU - 1-1
- Texas - 2-8

Since the Auburn game, we have been bad on first down offensively. We have consistently been in 2nd and 8+ situations. We have also been horrendous on third down in November (8/33 conversions).

So just saw a post that Costa is suspended for the Egg Bowl and next season due to testing positive for PEDs. Anyone got any info on that?

Rumor it was Adderall and if its a NCCA test, its a 365 day suspension. So he will be back for the 2022 egg bowl. Our back up is 0-1 on PAT... WOAM

The only place I can find it is on the Erectile Dysfunction board. And of course they have blown it from one positive test, to a school wide program involving loss of institutional control.

Texted my dad about it to see if he heard and he told me Neal had already confirmed it. I'm not on that board so I can't say for sure.
