Oof… I feel like this deserves a phone call! We need to catch up anyway.

It’s actually a pretty easy story. I raised her boys. My son came to live with us. She and my son didn’t get along. Things got better when her youngest and my son went to college. Unfortunately my son was bi-polar and had a delusional break in Nov of his first semester. So I dis-enrolled him and got him hospitalized. When he was stabilized I brought him home and a week later she bailed saying there was too much pain. We tried to work on things but she refused to go to counseling. My son died from a fentanyl overdose (insert obligatory “Let’s go Brandon” and yes “elections have consequences”) and the divorce is finalized. Very painful but important lessons learned and DoubleD is making it as best he can!

So off the pity party and on to important things like football. So are we getting Sanders back for the weekend and any idea what his injury is?

All this football stuff kind of fades compared to reality. My condolences and hope you get through ok.

Actually football helps a great deal. When I get to thinking about the crap going on I want to beat the shite out of idiots that voted this administration into office. Specifically, we are not hearing is that the influx of fentanyl has dramatically increased due to the lax border enforcement. At many points this year we are averaging more deaths to overdose than Covid. In fact the DEA is estimating that 40% of the prescription drugs being sold today have lethal doses of fentanyl in them. It’s all fun and games until it is your child that get a fake Xanax and dies…..all because we want open borders and cartels are taking advantage of the situation….let’s go Brandon…and frick anyone that voted for “personality over policies”.

I am so sorry for your family's loss. I can't imagine the weight of such a loss.

I am hearing Sanders and Warren are going to give it a go. What are you guys hearing about several Auburn players being suspended for the game. I've heard that several players including a starting defensive lineman got caught with delta 8 (a weedlike substance)

The medias selective process of letting the public see what the media wants them to see sucks. A close family friend lost her son to "Xanax" and one of his friends died from the same batch. We need leadership. Screw the climate, free jr college, infrastructure, Jan 6 and all the noises this administration generates to cover the issues. Again, sorry and if football helps then LFG.

Sucks to lose this game but oh well. On to the next one.

Think I’m going to take a break from this board and watching games for a while guys. I get too damn upset watching a damn football game. Y’all have a good one

Welcome to Ole Miss fandom. Have a seat. Hang on.

Seriously-the last game pissed me off. From bad officiating to not kicking field goals to watching Auburn posters delight in Matt Corral's injury. It was probably the most I've been pissed off at football since Hugh Freeze because we have the potential to win but we don't. With Matt Luke we didn't even have that, so the excitement level for me wasn't there.

Anyway, this is all part of being a fan, and particularly an Ole Miss fan. Stick around, HJJ.

You don't win all the close ones. We were one play away from losing to Ark and Tenn. We won those, we lost this one. Even the best teams only win about half the nail biters.

Given where our program is coming from and our talent level, I'm happy with the results so far this year.

At the end of the Tennessee game, my watch showed my heart rate at 138 bpm. I was sitting in a chair. It was ridiculous. It's normally 65-70 resting. Again, it was ridiculous.

Sorry to hear about your son, Bears. I can't imagine what that must be like.

As far as football goes, how do y'all feel about Liberty tomorrow? Even with the injuries we have, I think we are still a much better team and should win by double digits. Liberty relies way too much on stellar QB play to win games, so I think we key in on Malik and contain him as best we can.
