I do wonder if we scored a TD on that opening drive against Bama if the offense makes it a close game.

Bama had been preparing to whip our arse for an entire year. We didn’t have a chance.

It does piss me off more now that we didn't play better last week. Doesn't make sense how A&M can look so bad against mediocre teams like Colorado and State and all of a sudden look like a top 5 team a week later.

They were looking ahead. Plus they have a lot more talent and depth than we do. Especially on defense

I feel like the Tennessee game will be like a repeat of yesterday's game

The next Rebel fan that says anything nice about those frickers to the NW deserves some cumback sauce on their sonic tots! Just stop. frick the Piglets and KJ wasn’t worthy of an offer!

Im honestly not too worried about it. We have issues with physical teams like Arky and Bama. Tennessee isn’t like that. I’m more worried about LSU honestly

LSU can’t stop the run and can’t run the ball at all. That team might not even show up for that game at this point a lot like Ole Miss was in 2011. Tennessee is a worse version of Arkansas but it’s a night game that Tennessee is gonna be amped for. If Tennessee lights this defense up we aren’t winning more than 8 games.

Last time we went to Neyland it was a massacre and Masoli played concussed. I was about to be banned for the first time as a sweet summer child

An 8-4 regular season is a success. We haven't won 8+ regular season games since 2015. We've only done it six times since the turn of the century.

I think the Rebs/Vols game is going to be a high scoring shootout. Their QB, Hendon Hooker, is awesome. He has torched two bad defenses in a row and played relatively well against Florida in a loss. He can extend plays and make you pay with his feet. He is average 16 carries/game in his past three games (all SEC contests), so I expect a spy on him.

Both teams run the ball well. We have a better passing game. Their defense is stouter against the run (which is not saying much). however, both passing defenses are poor. I would note they have allowed 20 sacks in 6 games. Some of that is due to Hooker's scrambling; however, their offensive line is not that great.

any team with a 210+ running back will be an issue.

LSU will likely be in shambles when we play them. O doesn't have anything to hang his hat on to dig his team out the hole.

People tend to forget where we were/are coming from as a program.

I just want to be consistent.

Despite playing Bama and Georgia annually and Florida most of the time, Auburn has won 8+ games 30 times since 1981. We have 1/3 of that.

Shoot, eight wins is nice, but let's just try and make some consecutive bowl games. Hell, State is on a ten-bowl game streak.

Yep, it seems to be really easy for some of our fans to get overly greedy really quickly.

Tennessee has some big dudes who run the ball.

Tiyon Evans - 5'11", 220 lbs
Hendon Hooker - 6'4", 218 lbs
Jabari Small - 5'11", 206 lbs
Len'Neth Whitehead - 6'2", 220 lbs

Wake Forest and Kentucky have made five bowl games in a row and are bowl eligible this season. We have made one bowl game "in a row" and didn't make one from 2016 - 2019 (4 seasons). As for this season, we have a great chance to beat Vandy and we should beat Liberty, but we will probably be in close contests with Tennessee, LSU, Auburn, A&M, and State. There is a possibility we could drop 3 of these games.
