Ealy Connor and Phillips aren't exciting to watch? Elijah Moore? Benito? We have some good young pieces. If our line improves AT ALL we will have a dynamic offense again.

It’s just different. When I lived in Georgia every single Monday at work UGA fans would come in blowing their load over Nick Chubb TD runs and all their other great running backs. They didn’t care about passing game or good QB play. We are the opposite so fans don’t appreciate Ealy, Phillips, or Conner yet since we are used to putting up video game passing numbers the last 6 years. As they get better fans will start to expect every run to go for a TD just like we expect every pass to be a 60 yard bomb with our old offense.

I just think of it like this, if we passed for 413 and had a 70 and 80 yard bomb to two freshmen and only rushed for 99 yards against Vandy would we even be having a discussion about the offense? If you reverse the roles everyone would be bowing down to our offense not caring one bit about the disparity.

The game plan for Vandy was we are better, run it down their throats and it worked. Why risk the pass game when so much more could go wrong there? I predict Plumlee will start vs Mizzou with their loss of the best player on defense and we will test them and keep riding what’s worked for us. If it doesn’t work, course correct during the game. If Coral couldn’t move the offense against Memphis and Cal with our bad o line and young WRs he’s definitely going to have a hard time doing it against one of the best defenses in the SEC.

frick passing the ball. We did that shite too much for too many years. It’s time to run the ball. The great teams in this league have always run the ball successfully.

I agree but were are too one dimensional right now. I was surprised Vandy didn't find a way to shut us down.

Even on some of the long runs Vandy players were getting penetration. Our oline is charmin soft.

Yeah they still haven’t figured out pass protect. I have a feeling plumlee will be doing a lot of roll out passes and first read or run plays against Missouri.

This is the worst pass protection line I've seen maybe ever including 2010-2011 and the terrible Coach O lines. We have small forwards playing tackle.

We need quick short passes as designed plays to back the blitz off the QB. We only seem to try for 1st down passes each time instead of setting up blocks and having those guaranteed 3-5 yard pass plays. I really think that adding those in will help. It will also help in the redzone.

^^^ Yep, I am just fine nickel and diming it. Keep that defense off the field, burn the block, shorten the game, etc., etc.

Get Cooley more involved on the short to intermediate stuff which will open up swings and screens for our RBs. If we could just give Plumlee more than two seconds of pocket time I think he’d be an okay passer.

We absolutely can if our defense can get off the field on third down like last week. Their defense is going to give us problems but we can’t turtle shell like we did against Memphis and Cal.

We're halfway through the season and Rich Rod still believes we can run between the tackles. Miles Battle's pointless holding call after Plumlee had already housed it will more than likely cost us the game in typical Ole Miss fashion. Let that frick ride the pine for the rest of the year. Inexcusable

That TD by Mizzou was a talent issue. Q Sheppard isnt the guy the coaches would recruit for that role. In space he has no shot. He was a step behind what otherwise was a well defended play.

Don't have a problem with running in the middle. Just hate we do it EVERY first down.

Corral looked great on that possession. Shame we couldn’t get it in. Really should be 21-12 now in all honesty.

We have two pretty darn good looking QBs.
