Where is the shite about:
- Burner phones
- The ATM cards
- Funneling Pell Grant money via the T&F team

To me the most serious had to do with the ACT scores, in getting players qualified. We may end up forfeiting some wins, the only wins Nutt had his last 2 seasons.
The impermissible benefits can be found on any campus it happens. A lot those happened early on in CHF hire, when the staff was not fully aware and needed better training.
Ole Miss has since hired several new compliance officers and made a ton of improvements.
No bags of money, no proof that any player or their parents recieved $150,000 to come to Ole Miss. Cam Newton just denied he knew anything, and the SEC changed the interpretation of the rule to allow him to compete. So what was done to Auburn for the purchase of Cam's services. Nothing.
The boosters can always be a bad deal. Let's all go out with boycott Cannon signs? The fact one of them was dumb enough to give Tunsil's step dad 800 bucks sucks.
I said there would be scholarships lost and maybe some suspensions, and that appears to be the case.
But the haters have come out in full force and are attempting to label the Rebels as cheaters, and unworthy of their success.
Trying to lump the Rebels transgressions in with what happened at UT and Baylor is unfair to our program and should be addressed.

The funny thing about Cannon Motors is that they do that loaner car thing for everyone that has major work done at their service department. I feel bad for them but I'd much rather a few go down for just 3 years than have the whole program burn to the ground. Tunsil already was penalized games and reinstated by the NCAA for all of that. So you can toss that Level 1 out the window. The temporary disassociation is enough.

So word out of everywhere, even has made it to ED is the Tunsil text messages were explained and there is nothing to it. Out self imposed penalty is based off of having one of the level 1's reduced to level 2. Assuming the NCAA doesn't go for that, assume 16 scholarships over 4 years with a 3 year probation.

Ive heard basically the same.
If the ncaa accepts our self imposed punishments.....ill probably end up banned.

4 per year for 4 years wouldn't be too bad. You basically lose some depth and guys that wouldn't contribute anyway. Just means you can't miss on the recruits you sign.

We played with 83 last year and won the Sugar Bowl.
The way you work this is with juco players. You bring in experienced, developed players who play immediately to help the depth we would lose and in 2 years they are gone. Essentially if you sign 8 HS kids who RS and dont contribute as RS freshmen, there would be no difference in signing 4 jucos instead of those 8 freshmen. Theres ways to make this not hurt.
