its gonna be a HUGE turnout and a shitshow but i wouldnt miss it for the world.
Well what I meant is a big turnout on campus - beyond ticket sales and the stadium getting filled. Nonetheless, I'm pulling for OM.

On Finebaum, Lee Fitting just said that they have already scouted out a location in the middle of the grove to set up

frick.
The Union was going to be enough of a clusterfrick.

Haha, that's why I thought it was interesting he said that. The Union would seem to be easier for setting up logistics.

So the pavilion where the cheerleaders are

Setting the stage in the grove or on the Union seems too claustrophobic given the crowd that will be there. I think the better location would be on University by the statute, with their backs to the grove.

The Confederate statue? There would be some conniption fits thrown if that was the view on gameday
Posted on 9/27/14 at 8:02 am to Dixie.Reb
I think he means the announcers face the Statue and the TV doesn't see the Statue.
Posted on 9/27/14 at 8:44 am to Rebel Land Shark
Exactly. But he has a point that the statute might come into view on long shots and that would cause the smelling salts to be broken out.

Ah, that could be a really nice shot with Ventress in the background.I guess the crowd would congregate on University/Circle Dr.

Chris Fowler just said that if we lose then Gameday is in Starkville #WAOM
Posted on 9/27/14 at 11:25 am to Dixie.Reb
Can't see it moving as SEC show is at State.

We aren't losing this game so it's a non issue.
Plus if we were to lose this game I wouldn't want Gameday in Oxford for fear of how bad Bama would curb stomp us.
We roll this weekend for Chucky

Yeah, it may have just been a throwaway comment by Chris Fowler. I just thought it would be typical Ole Miss
Posted on 9/27/14 at 12:18 pm to Dixie.Reb
I don't doubt it.
If we lose and A&M wins that's the best matchup imo.
Plus they already planning to roll to MS just reroute to Starkvegas. No biggie.

I'd like to see OM get GameDay while State gets SEC Net.
We can feed off of each other & maybe the Nat'l media can learn to tell the differ.
Love to see north end zone bowled in at Vaught-Hemingway; it will lead to South end zone at Scott Field, & so on...

IDK it might just confuse them more.

As much as I hate to admit it i think a successful State helps OM and vice versa. Neither school will allow itself to fall behind the other when it comes to things and as long as one is always improving so will the other.
