This would probably be a great season otherwise.

Yep, we are in football purgatory for the next few years....not a whole lot to look forward to.

The whole administration should be updating their resumes after the last few years...textbook for the way NOT to handle a situation

I don't even want to talk about it. The "coach speak" tomorrow morning is going to be overwhelming.

Hey Boulder, do you live in Boulder or Broomfield?

Why do you think this would be a great season if Luke weren't the coach?

Because we could have someone who actually knows how to fricking coach at the collegiate level. If we had Freeze last year, we win at minimum 8 games. We for sure beat Cal, Arkansas and possibly pull out one more win somewhere

Don’t forget the choke jobs freeze had against Arkansas. We would have won those other games with freeze but he would have found a way to frick that game up.

I doubt Freeze would have been the answer. His team completely quit on him the year before. Hard to get that back once it happens.

I don't think it would be. However, I would have liked to see the football program clean house completely; shred the dead weight and bring in a complete new staff.

agree 100%. Start with Ross Bjork and work your way down.
Luke was the biggest WAOM hire in history

The only ones that I don't want fired in the football building are a few assistants. Bjork and Luke need to go.

we mainly walk around town when they have all of the stuff going on. We have drove to the continental divide before on occasion.

Are their any swimmable lakes up near Estes? I live in Boulder, and haven't got a chance to go up to Estes Park yet, but Ive heard great things.

I believe you can swim in lake Estes. There's a small marina there where you can rent pontoon boats. I'm pretty sure your heart will stop beating if you get into that water though.

If you go into RMNP there are incredible hiking trails all over the park. If you ever get an itch take the Bear Lake shuttle and hike Emerald Lake or Lake Haiyaha.

We did Lake Haiyaha over the fourth of July and it was beautiful.

Yea I bet that water is pretty cold up there, but on a super hot sunny day, especially after a hike, I can usually find a shallow area with warmer surface water that feels pretty good to take a dip in.

Anyone excited to hear Matt Luke today at SECMedia days?
