Also McRebel42!!! Did you see me call you out buddy or what? Dang good to see you back! I used to have the sn of I believe it was OleRebel42 back in 2012-2013. Anyways good to see this is bringing everyone back out. And just in time for Flipmas

I feel like I was summoned out of the ether and back into my body with all this positive news and potential surrounding Ole Miss. Haha it has been a hot minute, has it not? I'm glad to see some the old guard around still ... anyway here's to hoping for a merry flipmas!

Yep still a few of us around. What a time back then. I was just thinking the other day when we would even start up a group chat on a different site to keep from others from seeing the flipping recruiting news we were hearing. We killed a lot of time on this board back then. It was a glorious time honestly.

If nothing major (big bowls or whatever) comes from this at least it brings excitement back and reaffirms that we are the Flagship.

I used to have the screename of OlRebel42 or OleRebel42. But couldn’t remember my login after a while. I used to pick at McRebel42 for copying my name. I’ve been around originally since the beginning.

Or could I be??...

Not Randy. Not sure if he’s still around or not. Was he here back then?

From what I read Freeze is most likely one of the top paid Group of 5 HC's after his contract extension, and is possibly making as much or more at Liberty as Lane is making at OM

From ESPN:

Hugh Freeze, who guided Liberty to its first bowl game this season, has been rewarded with a multiyear contract extension, the school announced Tuesday. Sources told ESPN the deal is for five years and will pay Freeze an average of $2 million per year, making him one of the 10 highest-paid non-Power 5 head coaches in the country.

For some reason, not as much as I would have thought. I don't know if he can even survive on such a small pittance.

I wonder if Matt is ready to stop the happy feet, being scared, quit throwing INTs and possibly grow 4-5 inches to be a good QB as well?

More likely than JRP ever throwing for more than 140 yards in a game tbh

In unrelated news, Jacob Peeler is going to become the new OC at Texas State.

I am ecstatic that he will not be going to Starkville like many thought.

I agree 100% with this sentiment ... but seriously why can JRP throw the ball?! He's a CF in baseball so he has to have an arm ... is it just mechanics or that he's 5'8"?

Peeler going to MSU was just an MSU pipe dream. I could see him at another SEC gig but not there.

Lane seems to be keeping with the fishing theme. I for one am all about it.
