Some schools are allowed to cheat and it is swept under the rug. Ole Miss gets camped on for 6 years and nailed with some pretty petty stuff and the whole damn place burns to the ground. I'm done. I'm out. Goodbye college football. Good riddance.

I'll be honest. Somewhere deep inside, I'm almost relieved. Not because this whole investigation thing is coming to an end, but because I will have zero, zero expectations of our football team these next 3 or 4 seasons or maybe more. Anything will be gravy. And I mean anything.

Bradley Sowell is just glad that the pressure is off so Ole MISS can just out and play football now.

I agree.

I don't know how I can support this system anymore. It's just not fun. Yes, we broke the rules. But literally making us a fricking doormat for years for the shite they found on us is dumb as hell.

How is that good for the sport? I'm not even saying Ole Miss is a major player (we're not). But constantly fearing whether or not some 18 year old kid tweets out some dumb shite or if some rogue recruit's family gets arse hurt for not having the school blow them, so they go to the NCAA with the "gifts" they've received makes it not fun to be even a casual fan.

Your entire existence in the NCAA is so tenuous that you're almost scared to be decent for a few years, just because you know some drama is going to come out.

Unless you're Alabama, then frick it, do what you want.

Exactly, I'll just go to the Grove like I used to, get shite housed, win the fricking party, and wake up the next day from my blackout and ask "How much did we lose by?". My anxiety levels will go way down in the fall and I can enjoy it without stressing out over losses. This is the Ole Miss I grew up loving. Maybe by the time my son gets their (he's 2), we will have some hope and be competitive again....if college football as we know it is even around.

It was kinda sad last night talking to the old man, he said he was glad we went to and enjoyed the Sugar Bowl, because now knows for a fact he will never see Ole Miss when the SEC championship in his lifetime.

Absolutely. There are a chosen few who are allowed to be good. It's almost impossible for parity to exist.

Approaching ten #1 recruiting classes in a row? No problem at all. Dozens of signees have pictures on twitter with new cars? So what? A coach loaned Ha Ha Clinton-Dix money? Slap him on the wrist. Middleman Luther Davis helps an agent get money to D.J. Fluker? What can you do? Coach Bo Davis lied to the NCAA? Move along - nothing to see here.

This was posted on another board and I share the sentiments exactly...

Was this a witch hunt? Yes it was.

Whoever's dumb arse it was that decided to cooperate with the NCAA despite all of the evidence that fighting the NCAA at every turn equals success should be fired. I think that was Bjork's decision. It's also his decision to stay quiet and not wage any kind of PR campaign and Ole Miss is publicly embarrassed at every turn and loses out big on recruiting. The reason why we are being punished has more to do with the way that the investigation was handled than it does with the coaches. Instead of focusing on that, everyone wants to blame Hugh. I'm pissed at Hugh as well, but I don't think he did anything different than any other HC at any other school would have done. He was silenced by Bjork and the administration and those are the idiots that need to face the fury of the fanbase/alumni.

Back in 2011 I made a post on here saying I hope we started cheating our asses off because we were so horrible and I just wanted to see if we had the balls. I also said that it would be worth it imo if we got busted.

Well I stand by that. It was fun getting under other fans skin for a while, and just to have a program that felt like it was alive. Sure I'm pissed at how we were treated and how incompetent some of our staff has been, but we still have a good team and I can enjoy the game without stress anymore.

If Stoops got caught cheating to send us to the Sugar Bowl, I'd be all out of fricks to give and would probably send him a refund check myself.

We got absolutely hammered in 2002 for shite that everybody and their mother was doing. And hit fricking hard. We've served multiple probations in basketball, yet UNC skates for decades of fake classes and Duke buys houses for player's mommas. Unfortunately it is what it is. But I'm all for telling everybody else to frick off.

I'm going to tell y'all what the hell im tired of. Freeze is about to be skull fricked and instead of staying off social media he's tweeting pictures of him and his family meeting country music singers. Dude gives no fricks about what's going on as long as he can hang out with joe blow county star. Get him the hell out of here. I want a dang coach and not someone that doesn't give a crap. He needs to go. And it's not just because of what I've stated but the fact of all the trouble we're about to be in.

I couldn't care less about the SEC and haven't for quite some time. I can't think of a single reason for me to root for everybody else in our conference. Just makes our row that much tougher to hoe, and that's never been more the case than now.
