This move obviously signals we are getting another two year ban and kids can transfer immediately. Like another poster said this is our only move in an attempt to retain players. I’ll wish him well while we take our medicine but we’ve got a likely 4-5 yr hill to climb.

If we are getting an additional 2 year bowl ban on top of this year after North Carolina skated on their crap, we better take the NCAA to court.

The only way I would support this hire is if he pulled in the same recruiting classes and won the west. That is literally it.

Some of you are being very unrealistic. State is a much better gig than Ole Miss is right now.
We better hope that Strong or Norvell don't end up at state.
Mullen is a very good coach and state had a very good team, the fact that our players showed up to try and win that game was a feat in it's own.
I know we think we are the shite and we most definitely are better than most people, but right now we are shite hole program on probation with what looks to be a 2 year bowl ban.
Any body that we interview would rather have the state job at this point. Check back in a couple of years when we can go bowling again.

Feel like we’re back to the days where the good ole boys make the decisions that kept the program at the bottom for so long. There are a bunch of people who are friends with the Luke family and having one of their own is more important than the program being successful. If that’s who we hire, he will still have my support and I hope he proves me wrong, but I will have lost whatever faith I have in bjork that remains from his shite handling of the NCAA mess.
