After last season, hopes were high that the ship might be righted a little bit and Ole Miss might achieve some semblance of success on the gridiron, despite the coaches and the defense.

After the Alabama game I believe that we can all agree this is not going to happen in 2018.

So each week, let's guess the attendance for games in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.

9/22/2018 Kent State

Survey says... 30,000

25,000

I hope it's as bad as the 07 Northwestern State game that got coach O fired.

They announced 25,000-30,000 but it was way less than that. There have been Grove Bowls with higher attendance numbers than that game

It's gonna be the locals or the Memphis/Jackson crowd only. Maybe some of the folks who aren't ever able to go to a game as the tickets are basically free for this one.

THe family from Houston or Atlanta damn sure isn't making back to back trecks over to watch this game and spending hundreds of dollars for food/hotel and giving up their weekend for it .

It's an early game against a team that may beat us. It will be hot AF .

VERY light attendance. I've guessed 30,000 but it will be lower probably.

There's a 90% chance of rain (thunderstorms) on Saturday right now so I wouldn't be surprised if it's <20,000

They're giving free tickets to faculty/staff as there are so many available seats.

It's Kent State. We could have the perfect team, and it wouldn't be full. Moreover, we could have the perfect team, and the crowd still wouldn't stay long. Let's not turn this into something it isn't. This is the era of HD mammoth screen TVs and recliners with light up cup holders and built-in ice chests all surrounded by air conditioning. Attendance is down nationwide for the most part. You throw in a team that doesn't seem to have it against a Kent State, and what the frick do you expect on a blazing hot Saturday in September at 11 am after you've just gotten your arse handed to you the week prior?

There's not full and then there's embarrassing. This Saturday will be embarrassing

I can see the peak of it being around 35-40k peeps. It will dwindle quickly once the game starts though.

Nothing will be worse than LA Tech in 2011 when they beat us 20-7. There was maybe 5 thousand people there

One of the worst games of my life. Sat in The Grove and drank sitting down for 3 hours. When I stood up to walk to the stadium, I made it about 5 steps before the whole world started to spin and I threw up in a garbage can. Made it to the stadium but the only thing I remember is there was enough space for me to lay down in the bleachers

10/6/18-UL-Monroe: 15,000

This might be our last football victory this year.

This 15,000 person attendance brought to you by Ross Bjork and Jeffrey Vitter.

Not worth the time and money and effort to make the drive to watch this undisciplined team. Hope it’s about 20,000

Call me a shitty fan, but I’m not spending any more time and money traveling to Oxford this season. frick it.

Fire Luke.
Fire the entire football staff.
Fire Bjork.
Fire Vitter.

Then maybe I’ll make that drive.

We were looking at buying a place up there, but frick that shite, too.

I live 5 mins outside of little rock and was planning on going to that game. After watching our first game this season I decided I could find better things to do that saturday. Each week that decision looks better and better

I say you’re drunk already.

Unless you mean between 35 people and 40,000 people. Then you’re just hedging.
