Just got sent this from a friend if any other Road Rebs are interested.
The Houston Rebel Club watch party for the Texas Tech game as well as the after party will be located at The Owl Bar which is located at 2221 W. Alabama St.
Kick off is at 11 AM and the after party will commensurate at 2:30 PM.
We will have live music by Up on a Quasar starting from 3:30 - 8:30 PM.
Our drink specials will be as followed:
$2 Miller Lite/Budlight/Coors Light/Lone Star
$5 Jameson
$5 Deep Eddy Vodka and Flavors (Tea, Grapefruit, Lemon)
$5 Peach Bellinis
$5 Allegation Shots
$5 Bloody Marys
$7 Bollo Margarita and Pepperoni Pizzas

This is a great choice.
For all you Rebels coming from out of town Houston does this thing every year called Houston Restaurants Week. (it's really the whole month of August and goes through labor day)
Here is a link below of all the restaurants taking place.The menus are typically set for 3 course meals for $35 dollars at some of the best restaurants in houston. A Portion of the proceeds goes to a charity called Houston Food Bank.

I got 3 tickets on StubHub for $100 total. Dont think we are gonna stay now. Will just save that money for Bama in a couple weeks. Will drive down enjoy the game, then drive over to the Nike outlet then just head back to Dallas. Busy day but no reason to really stay. If it was a later game I would have stayed.

I suspect white since the unis are all white, but I don’t know.

I think the first game is always marked “wear white” regardless. I have every color Ole Miss polo except white so maybe I’ll do a little treat yoself and buy one for the game
