Only?

We haven't beaten UK by 10+ points since 2000.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a low scoring game. It pretty much comes down to our offensive line play. I can’t see Kentucky scoring more than 20 on our defense.

I'm concerned we won't be able to run the ball effectively . . . again. Combine that with a first year QB in his first road start against a salty defense.

I think we'll win, but I think it's going to be very close.

Last year has traumatized us (and rightfully so), and I might be a moron, but I think we cover easily.

We should win easily but we tend to step on our own dicks in these types of games.

Honestly, the following statistic was much better than I expected. We are 8-4 straight up and against the spread as favorites against conference teams on the road since Kiffin took over.

The Rebs as road favorites against conference opponents under Lane Kiffin
10/17/2020 - Arkansas 33, Ole Miss 21 (-3) - 0-1 overall, 0-1 ATS
10/31/2020 - Ole Miss 54 (-17.5), Vanderbilt 21 - 1-1 overall, 1-1 ATS
10/16/2021 - Ole Miss 31 (-1), Tennessee 26 - 2-1 overall, 2-1 ATS
10/08/2022 - Ole Miss 52 (-17), Vanderbilt 28 - 3-1 overall, 3-1 ATS
10/29/2022 - Ole Miss 31 (-2.5), Texas A&M 28 - 4-1 overall, 4-1 ATS
11/19/2022 - Arkansas 42, Ole Miss 27 (-1) - 4-2 overall, 4-2 ATS
11/21/2023 - Ole Miss 28 (-6.5), Auburn 21 - 5-2 overall, 5-2 ATS
11/23/2023 - Ole Miss 17 (-9), Mississippi State 7 - 6-2 overall, 6-2 ATS
10/05/2024 - Ole Miss 27 (-10.5), South Carolina 3 - 7-2 overall, 7-2 ATS
10/12/2024 - LSU 29, Ole Miss 26 (-4) - 7-3 overall, 7-3 ATS
11/02/2024 - Ole Miss 63 (-8), Arkansas 31 - 8-3 overall, 8-3 ATS
11/23/2024 - Florida 24, Ole Miss 17 (-13) - 8-4 overall, 8-4 ATS

In that same span, here is UK as a home underdog in conference play:
10/31/2020 - Georgia 14 (-17), Kentucky 3 - 0-1 overall, 1-0 ATS
10/02/2021 - Kentucky 20, Florida 13 (-7.5) - 1-1 overall, 2-0 ATS
11/06/2021 - Tennessee 45 (-1), Kentucky 42 - 1-2 overall, 2-1 ATS
10/15/2022 - Kentucky 27, Mississippi State 17 (-7) - 2-2 overall, 3-1 ATS
11/19/2022 - Georgia 16 (-22.5), Kentucky 6 - 2-3 overall, 4-1 ATS
10/28/2023 - Tennessee 33 (-4), Kentucky 27 - 2-4 overall, 4-2 ATS
11/11/2023 - Alabama 49 (-10), Kentucky 21 - 2-5 overall, 4-3 ATS
09/14/2024 - Georgia 13 (-21.5), Kentucky 12 - 2-6 overall, 5-3 ATS

I mean you’re a moron, but that’s got nothing do with it.

Our OL is a shitshow.

Side note…..anyone else get that good feeling when you saw a #2 Wallace jersey catching passes in VHS again?

I'm already pre-pissed about the game play.

Went back and watched highlights and I don’t know how I missed this but Simmons has an absolute cannon of an arm. Every ball he threw it was right on top of the receiver he was throwing to as they turned around

My only concern with Simmons is his arm motion. He cocks his arm way too far back. The concern being that will cause fumbles if he's hit while his arm is back. Otherwise, he looks great.

Well, there is one more thing. I didn't like how he wasn't progressing through his targets. On that 2nd INT, we had two WRs wide open and he threw into double coverage. Just a learning curve, but we need mistake free football this weekend.

He’s got NFL arm talent and I think he’s gonna go even higher than Dart went in the NFL draft. He just has to learn to read defenses and that will come naturally with more playing time.

100%. There’s a lot going on with the ball when he pulls his arm back. It looks super unorthodox and maybe “it works” but I agree the ball seems vulnerable to a lot of swipes from defenders in the backfield.

Tim Tebow-ish, but without the elite O line to protect him.

I don't know why people keep saying this. Simmons can throw better than Tebow and Tebow ran a hell of a lot more. Simmons seems to delay his runs, when it was Tebow's first instinct. Tebow looked to see if a lane was open and then took off if it was. His pass was a secondary option.

He just meant the unorthodox arm motion. One of corral and Dart’s biggest strengths was how quickly they released the ball which minimized fumble risk
