Going to respectfully disagree here. I think he’s better than Swag. 2021 Corral you could make the argument though.

Swag had the prettiest deep ball I have ever seen (until Simmons). They literally did an ESPN sports science episode about his arm strength. He is a POS, but by far the best QB of the last 15 years. The 2015 defense was not the 2014 one and he still got us to 10 wins.

Corral 2021 was also better he just had 0 weapons. I love Jachour Pearson but he was not a #1 SEC receiver. Put corral on the team last year and we go 16-0. He finished 7th in heisman voting too.

He didn’t play poorly against Kentucky. Think he completed something like 66% for 270. We had like 60 rushing yards and he had like 20-30 of them.

Poor game plan and an inability to do anything on the ground fricked us.

Tre Harris was targeted 15 times and the rest of the team only had 12. We went 1-10 on third down. Dart is to be blamed for some of that especially the singular focus on Tre. His coordinator did him no favors at all but he contributed to all of our losses. In case anyone thinks I’m defending out OC see the rest my posts pontificating on his awfulness.

90 of those yards were a 4th down coverage bust TD to Harris and a 4th down prayer to prieskorn. He had a bad game.

Corral absolutely understood the offense just as much as Kiffin did that year. You’re right….his weapons were on par with what Cutcliff gave Eli.

I don’t know if it was Dart or gameplan but when Harris was out we were so much better distributing the ball.

Dart deserves some blame but he didn’t lose us the game.

No run game and our defense inexplicably giving up so many third and fourth and long screwed us.

Our red zone offense was just so bad. Guessing we were probably middle of the pack in conversion rate but led the conference in yards.

Yes I agree the defense gave up big plays against lsu and Kentucky but even then it was the offense that lost those games. If I told you before the games that Kentucky and lsu only scored twenty points in regulation every poster here thinks we would win those games comfortably. Dart was not the main issue as I have repeatedly said but he was definitely a factor in all the losses.

And before anyone says it, no we shouldn’t have given Judkins more money or tried harder to get him to stay

ETA: Damn I’m late

Shouldnt have been a locker room cancer and turned down $900k payday. Then maybe he would still be here

If we have him, then we're in this game and OSU isn't. It's that simple.

Not if he’s a locker room cancer having fights either his o-line/Dart and causing the team to come apart. So no. We’re not

If he is a locker room cancer then explain how OSU seems to manage things just fine? Head coaches control the locker room and it’s on Kiffin that he couldn’t make Judkins work.

Because he isn’t their best or only option at that position. He was competing for the number 2 spot until mid season. He has no leverage to act like an arse there. He is making half of what we offered him.

Judkins solution was telling the coaches which plays to run, what offensive linemen he wanted starting and then threatening to sit out after he got a $900k NIL deal two weeks after he signed it.

But yeah. Kiffin was unreasonable

He’s got to share carries with Henderson who is also good. 600 is a good o/u. They aren’t going to have two thousand yard rushers

Only about 75 yards for each of them away from having both over 1000 yards. Forgive me for not believing this board can have unbiased views on Q.

Oh, and Weiss is an idiot and our o line was garbage so I don’t blame him.

It’s not bias man. Nobody is saying he is a shite running back. People are saying he was a shite teammate and a cancer in the locker room. We did everything we could to appease him short of letting him call actual plays and he still got in fights with the offensive line and started causing issues that Dart was yelling to take him out of games.

You can’t have that.
