So the mom refused to sign the NLI to us because she was threatened by Lebby they would cut Lockhart’s older brother from the team. So she in turn pressured him to flip back to State.
There is no way that kid is happy right now. I’m sure he had mixed feelings when flipping to us but that kind of shady shite going down is going to make him hate that school and coaching staff. They pulled this to get a “win” in optics. It’s such a hilariously stupid and short sighted move on their part. But that coaching staff isn’t known for making smart decisions.
Here’s the video of him committing to us this morning. Look at the miserable frick to the right of him. His mom doesn’t look thrilled either.

More than anything I feel bad for this kid.

Like, yeah it would have been a good get for us but “losing” him isn’t really a big deal. They needed this solely for the optics.
