Actually, no particular conference champion is guaranteed a spot. The five highest ranked conference champions get an automatic bid. That’s pretty much always gonna be the power 4 conferences and the highest ranked G5, but theoretically it could be two G5 champions if, say, the B12 or ACC champ has four losses one year

I wish but I think if this is the scenario bama stays in and Miami is number out of the 12th spot.
I doubt they reshuffle any of the teams that don’t play this week. Bama, Miami, ole miss, South Carolina are going to stay in the same order
