If the committee puts in USC that went 3-2 in one score games and needed miracles to beat Clemson and Mizzou over us, I am done

It’s not like they blew anyone out besides A&M. And we blew them out.

If we didn't lose last week we would be looking at the 6 seed with possibility of being 5 seed if Notre Dame lost a game.

There are going to be some epic melts if we get in over South Carolina on the main board

Neither are getting in - need at least 2 more upsets ahead of us for that to even really be a discussion.

And with Miami and SMU both up huge already it isn't happening for either.

I still think if Miami or smu loses the championship they may be out. Have gotten lucky wins and 0 wins over good teams. But yeah, that’s basically our only hope

It comes down to:

Auburn comes back and beats Alabama

SC does not jump us after beating No. 12 (ha!) Clemson

The committee takes a 3-loss SEC team over a 2-loss Miami or SMU, whose second loss was in a conference championship game
OR
Miami loses to Syracuse and loses to SMU in ACC title game

Our hopes are on life support. Georgia loss would have helped us but still may not have been enough

I disagree. If they win the SEC then that only helps us look even better and it erases the memory of some of our bad losses

If Miami loses today, they are out of the championship. And Clemson is in

Can already tell what is going to happen is notre dame and Miami will lose, bama will win a close one and usc will jump us but not bama and they and bama get in.

Why is it that I have a sneaking suspicion that South Carolina will jump us but will not jump Alabama?

By the way, if South Carolina jump us that is complete utter bullshite

They are the hot team while we are cold. Happens all the time in end of season rankings

Committee has said (and has proven multiple times already) that they value head to head matchups when they are ranking teams with the same record. It’s why USCe is behind us and Bama now and why UGA was behind us until we lost to Florida

So since UCF is opening up, y’all think they will entertain an offer to Lebby?

Would also need SMU to beat Clemson in ACC champ to make ACC a one bid league. But yes that path would free up a spot.

But still also need ND and/or Bama to lose. Because Purdue isn't beating Indiana.
