This times 100. Hard pass on seeing us back door our way into the playoffs and suffering watching us pull a random player like the punter to play RB.

We don’t deserve to be there and will just get embarrassed if we do somehow go. We finally had some momentum in recruiting and Kiffin now has to figure out how to keep that going, and keep the current talent on the roster intact, while also firing half the offensive staff. Garrison and Smith are not SEC caliber position coaches and Weiss Jr is a football terrorist who needs to be immediately executed for his crimes against (removed:humanity) my sanity.

Are y’all high? Y’all are so mad about yesterday y’all wouldn’t want us to even have a shot at a national title?

Also, I hate our offensive system. The versions that Huepel, Lebby, and Kendall Briles run are gimmicky bullshite but Kiffin has taken it and somehow made it even more retarded. I would fully endorse a complete reset, take the money we’re wasting on Weiss Jr and pay it to Brennan Marion or someone else that is actually talented at what they do. Kiffin has evolved before and I think it’s past time to do it again. Barring that maybe we could at least call more play action pass plays and call true run plays were the O-line can actually get a head of steam and move downhill rather than uselessly standing there while our RB gets tackled for no gain.

Im still perplexed at how that game ended

There's basically no outcome where we get in.
ACC is getting in Miami and SMU. Two loss Clemson may well get in too.
Big 12 is just the conference winner.
Boise and ND are in.
Big 10 gets Ohio State, Indiana, Penn State, and Oregon.
That leaves 2-3 spots for the SEC. Texas, UGA, and Tennessee take those spots.
If Tennessee or UGA lose next week, Clemson and Bama are both very likely ahead of us in the pecking order.
The only path in is basically:
2 ACC teams lose (Miami, SMU, Clemson)
Auburn over Bama
USC over ND
Vandy over Tennessee and/or GT over UGA
That might get us in as the 12 assuming SC doesn't jump us for beating Clemson and being the hot team to end the season.

Then the new system is fricking retarded. Ole Miss could play SMU’s schedule and be undefeated.
Miami SMU and Clemson would have a minimum of 3 losses with an SEC schedule.
There’s no reason to be in the SEC outside of money if you get penalized for playing a tougher schedule.
Just frick everything about college football now. What a fricking joke it has become. It’s the NFL without the talent.

Delusionally retarded if true

Which is why in 2 years the SEC and Big 10 are going to blow it all up and move to a full on NFL system where you have the SEC bracket and the Big 10 bracket and the winners meet in the "super bowl"

No we wouldn’t, we would easily find a way to lose at least 2 games with SMU’s. We don’t know how to run the ball and have zero clutch factor in close games

We barely had an SEC level RB in Parrish and we are now down to a MWC punt returner as RB1. Just end the season.

I mean, there shouldn’t be. We blew it.

Good thing we kicked Judkins off the team! Very strategic decision made with so much foresight with a clear back up plan in place.
Good thing we replaced Judkins with:
Diggs (torn ACL before we signed him)
Parrish (180 RB with no speed)
Bentley (??????)
Amos (thousand yard rusher with no carries)
Jones (walk on RB from Jackson Prep)
Thomas (random walk on)
Davis (Punt returner)
Pegues (300lb DL who runs off tackle)

It’s been coaching malfeasance all along.

Judkins with his distractions wouldn’t have helped this team
Posted on 11/24/24 at 11:57 am to Henry Jones Jr
I bet he’d get tough yards that we couldn’t get all season and is the #1 reason we lost every game we lost.
Also my point is if you’re gonna get rid of one of the best backs in college football have a fricking back up plan.

Play calling is the reason we lost those games. And if Judkins caused a rift in the locker room, then you have a team chemistry issue where it could cause more issues. There’s a reason he was let go. It wasn’t just Dart and couple of players who had issues with him and his attitude. We likely would have lost a few more players to the portal if he stayed
You take those games out he has 478 rushing yards on the year. So elite and worth the $900k in NIL he was demanding after being a locker room cancer all year.
quote:He has proven this year he’s not that. He’s above average at best. His only 2 games with more than 100 yards were Western Michigan and Marshall. Those two games were a third of his entire production for the season.

Kiffin is to “pro minded” he doesnt think you have to pay a running back good money. I know Trevor Etienne and the Etienne family personal. His exact words “he called me but Kiffin wouldn’t pay”

Judkins probably won us the Auburn Arkansas LSU and State games last season. With his ability to run when everyone in the stadium knows we need to run to extend drives and eat clock.
We weren’t able to do that against Kentucky or LSU. We had the ball late in both games with the lead and couldn’t run the ball to eat clock. And we had a punt returner at RB against Florida.
Surely Judkins could have outperformed our shite arse running back room.
