Hate this.

Bookmarking all yall saying this is fine for when Dart is struggling because teams are dropping 8 every down. Hope we can change his mind or pick up another bruiser.

That's not how this works. If they want to get paid like professionals, then they can act like professionals and get treated like professionals.

Judkins was refusing to play the peach bowl and had to be basically forced to. He has soured his relationship with teammates and coaches. I have been telling you guys since the start of the season it’s been bad. He is a locker room cancer

Can Bentley carry the load? I like his running style better, anyway... not that that means anything.

RB is probably the most replaceable position. There were 11 G5 RB’s with more yards than Judkins this season.
You can get a back who is just as productive for 1/5 the price.

Besides we’re airing the ball out next year. Harris, Watkins, Wells, Smith, Preiskorn, Lee, Williams. Thank god we won’t be seeing back to back Judkins runs up the middle for no gain.

More stuff will come out about this season. There is certain stuff I can’t say because these message board are monitored by friends and family of him. He was asking for around 1.3 and we countered with a little under a million and the situation blew up and it got ugly.

frick judkins. I was his biggest fan last year, but this season he acted like he really didn’t give a shite. You’ve already signed a contract for a shite ton of money, quit being a little bitch and go play. If you didn’t like the terms you shouldn’t have signed. At this point let bama or auburn have him, there’s plenty of other guys out there we can sign who will actually want a chance to play in the sec and compete for a national championship.

Meh frick him. We will be fine. More money opened up for the collective. The most easily replaceable position on the field that’s not kicker or punter

Bad mouthing the offensive line. Blaming them for the rib injury. Causing fights in the locker room. Etc.

I don’t know specifics but I have a friend working in the AD that told me last summer Judkins had some attitude problems. Then after the egg bowl he said the most impressive thing Kiffin and his staff have done this whole season is kept the team together pulling in the same direction with such a massive cancer in the locker room.

For any of them reading this, Quinshon has an inflated view of himself and he can get fricked sideways with a bat wrapped in barbed wire. He and y’all are fricking idiots and we are better off without him

Is Donte Dowdell still available and is he even playing the right position? I’ve seen some people say he’d be a better linebacker

Multiple things can be true at the same time:

1) I don’t believe a word coming out from ole Miss fans/bloggers/coaches about character issues. NFL teams do the same thing when players ask for a new contract/leave and it is laughable. Doesn’t mean it isn’t true, I just don’t trust the source (no offense, Pete, please keep the info coming )

2) Judkins value goes beyond the stat sheet. He absolutely made teams respect the inside run more which opened up Dart and Receivers. He also won at least 2 games this year that I can think of: Auburn and LSU

3) If he was asking for more than $1 million it may not have made sense for us to pay him. NIL is not an unlimited resource and sometimes you have to make hard payroll decisions. Doesn’t mean the player is bad or the team is cheap. There is at least 1 starting NFL RB making less than $1 mil so I understand the hesitance even for a special player

4) if he got an offer for $1.5 mil+ he should absolutely take it. That is life changing money at a position with a short shelf life

Sucks, but I think we can still have a special year in 2024
