I’m in this camp . Honestly because although we are paying Kiffin a lot.. we don’t really have much to show for it. We didn’t beat anyone that that was good last year (aside from Troy)… we got smoked in the bowl game .

I’m excited for football season but with this schedule , we have some L’s coming again it appears

I could just be rambling but Like the program looks sexy under an Instagram filter with Kiffin being snarky and the social media teams putting out graphics but take the filters all off and we are just an okay team who really turtled up several times last season

If we can go 8-4 in the regular season next year we'll be much improved. 9-3 would be a treat. We get Aggie and the Pigs at home and (hopefully) catch Auburn a rebuilding year. I have faith.

No fricking way.

So at this point, it’s us or Florida State?

Louisville transfer QB Khalib Johnson is visiting this week.

Honestly at this point I think Kiffin is just trying to stack QBs on the roster just to keep them away from other teams.

So far we are doing well in-state. Especially compared to State. Of course we still need to close on some of the top national-level prospects.

Damn. This kid is 6'4" 200 lbs. 4.56 40. Sounds like a Mingo/Brown/Metcalf clone to me.

Kid wanted too much money. Glad we didn’t overpay him because I would rather get a haul of the 2024 HS class. Plus ain’t Q & we have WRs that can hopefully step up.

Wynn played his first four seasons with the Crimson Tide before spending the 2022 season with the Cornhuskers. The 6-foot-3, 305-pounder is originally from South Carolina and made 22 tackles in 12 games last season. He was a consensus four-star prospect in the 2018 class and was ranked as the No. 74 player in 247Sports’ Composite rankings and 97th by ESPN.

Is this one of those covid year things? How does he still have eligibility?

Zhakari Franklin

This WR from UTSA is available. 3300 yards and 37 TD’s. He can play against P5 competition too. He had 6 catches for 84 yards and a TD against Texas last season.

We should be okay at “Receiver”

Lose: Mingo, Heath
Gain: Harris, Prieskorn

Knox and Watkins and Wade should be improved. JJ Henry and Bralon Brown and Trigg need to step up. Aydin Williams could be a surprise.

But getting this receiver from UTSA would be a solid replacement for Chris Marshall. Maybe even better given he has proven production.

Isaac Ukwu committed to Ole Miss.

Ukwu is an accomplished pass rusher, recording 16.5 sacks at James Madison over the last two season. All told, he recorded 87 tackles, 27.5 tackles for loss, 16.5 sacks, three forced fumble one fuble recovery and five passes defended during his James Madison career. He comes to Ole Miss with one year of eligibility remaining.

The 6-2.5 Ukwu was rated a four-star transfer prospect and the No. 1 weak-side defensive end in America by 247Sports.
