The Vandy QB is taking an official visit. Sounds like we've zeroed in on our backup.
ETA: Brady Allen, former 4* and current freshman QB at Purdue is also visiting soon. So looks like we have a couple options.
Which also then likely means the Oklahoma State QB is going to Auburn, which makes sense given he'd be the likely starter there.

Sanders (OKST QB) just set up an OV to us. I thought he was an Auburn lock at this point.

I don’t think you land him unless he has a legit shot to take the starting job. Not sure you’d want to do that to Dart. He needs someone to push him but this would be a lot of NIL capacity used on a position we are ok at.

Well sure but at the same time we can’t just have walk ons behind dart so we don’t upset him. If he was invincible I would be ok with it, but to not have anyone serviceable behind him is poor planning and recipe for disaster

Tell him it's like the NFL. If we aren't adding talent behind you / to push you, we are failing in our job. It's why smart NFL teams take a QB every couple years, even with a set starter.

That’s a big time pick up. It will be nice to have talented receivers to compliment Dart and Judkins.
