I remember hearing that one booster offered $25 million (I think we know which one) for retaining him. I didn't hear if that was an annual commitment though.

Heard roughly the same amount. From a booster on a certain committee located in Texas.

The national narrative still seems to be leaning toward his departure. Hopefully we will know something definitive going into the weekend.

I got a PM the other day too saying to stop trolling the Coaching Changes board. Admittedly that was after I started the thread saying Chicken and Sexton were in cahoots

I mean that’s fair on both parties.

I would be surprised if the other schools continue to just sit around waiting for an answer from him and allow it to drag out much longer.

Other schools waiting longer then this weekend are kinda crazy.. Cause they are losing time with recruits..Think that is what Lane is wanting to do is keep them guess eating up that recruiting time before NSD..

If LSU don't say they are hiring today no one is hiring him away from Ole Miss.. LSU and Gators need a coach hired before Monday to safe any kinda recruiting class

Someone posted a screenshot of -200 which would be mildly concerning, but also betting markets for stuff like this are dumb. It’s not like game lines where casinos have dialed in quant analysis.

So me and one of my friends made a list of different schools Lane would leave us for(if they were open obviously) after the Auburn debacle and here they were:

Alabama
LSU
Florida
Georgia
Miami
OSU
Michigan
USC

He brought that conversation up a couple of days ago and we agreed if he doesn't leave now with two of those jobs open and courting him he isn't leaving us for another college job.

It's an offshore betting market means less than nothing unless you have wasted money betting of course

Bovada is infamous for not paying out big wins. It's about as sketchy as they come. They personally refused to pay out a stupid $5 parlay I hit which won me around $3500

I wouldn’t read anything into it period. A week ago he was the betting favorite at Florida.

Also, if he wants to go into that absolute chaos of what’s going on at LSU… Then good luck to him.

People are forgetting Lane did not even try and leave when Bama did open up.. He could have interview for that job when it open up after Little Nicky retired. That was the biggest bullet we have dodge and only one i been worried about.
