That might be my struggle. I want to believe in the best of people, and Kiffin hopping town would symbolize he never did change. It is basically saying, Ole Miss did not make Lane a better man and father. He just wants to revert back to who he was. Maybe in the end, that is what he chooses, but the legacy will not be what he pictured.

I’m not buying his family spent the last two days right after a game in different SEC towns. I kind of got a vibe from him walking off the field Saturday that maybe that was his last home game at Ole Miss.

Its at the point seems like Lane is wanting paint as us fans trying to run him out of Oxford when it in realty we are not.. He is painting that way.

Lane is so diabolical he is trying to convert a fanbase that has loved him and helped him into to changing his life around, into a evil fanbase that wants to drive him away.

A scorpion wants to cross a river but cannot swim, so it asks a frog to carry it across. Chase reported this morning that they would be going and that it was all above board and pre-planned. It doesn't mean that he is leaving. Nothing means anything until a contract is signed somewhere.
Also, he cannot sign anything with a university in another state until he resigns from Ole Miss. He would have to resign first and then sign with the other school.

Not saying that he is staying, but this doesn’t make me any more nervous. And is also why anyone wanting to give Kiffin an ultimatum is dreaming.

This is going to be a long and painful 2 weeks regardless of which way it goes. Life would have been better with a game this weekend.
At this point I hope the Texas job opens, so we can just burn the SEC to the ground.

It’s just unfathomable to me to be Kiffin and willingly let your fanbase start to turn on you. Because make no mistake, the younger generation is 1000% pissed off at the way he’s handled this situation.
