This Walk of Champions is going to be epic, with Juice leading the way. Pretty sure these players and coaches are going to experience some true love, after all the crap Kiffin put them through.

It’s a sport and money is involved. Unless something illegal is being done or someone is physically harmed, I don’t give a frick how it’s done I just want to win.

This is the first time in all of this Kieth and Ole Miss look weak! You can not have Charlie jr. back to coach under a contract with LSU. If we win, Big LSU allowed little Ole Miss to borrow a coach to get it done and hang a co-champions banner. We lose and LSU says Charlie jr. tanked it on purpose. From the moment those planes left it has been and is about optics. And this looks desperate!

I’m sorry, but y’all are being foolish. Weiss gives this team a much better shot to make some noise in the playoff. Who cares about any other narrative?

At this point I am worried about Keith. He is yet to come out and dispute any of the bs Kiffin has been saying and this comes across that Kiffin didn't issue an ultimatum and these guys just chose to leave. That part is fine, but it also means Keith was completely unprepared for how to handle things if Kiffin went to LSU and also makes me think Keith was actually ok with Kiffin coaching and just didn't allow it because of pressure from other people. Sure buddy, know you been lying to me this whole time but I'm fine with you leaving for a rival and continuing to coach our team for your own ego.
We need some answers from Keith.

Let LSU fans believe that nonsense all they want. The fact is he signed a term sheet. Kiffin doesn’t need to “allow” for anything unless he just rescinds the offer entirely. Which would look petty.

We didn’t even know who was coaching us for 2 days. We’ll have our time to set a narrative. Lane is better able to do it because he’s talking from more stable ground. It is what it is.

Narrative is everything! If we use Charlie jr. under contract with LSU, we are painted as a low level stepping stone that needs help from a big boy program to achieve ANY SUCCESS!! Lane gets to save face for allowing our achievements.

I've seen where nola.com said he signed, but also have seen where he has only agreed to term sheet/MOU.

This is pretty clearly Kiffin trying to get a PR win because he didn’t expect this much national backlash. Keith would be cutting off his nose to spite his face by not letting CWJ keep coaching the playoffs. We literally have no one who has called plays/knows what Trinidad likes in each situation.
Also, CWJ didn’t act like a child - Kiffin did. And after watching the last chance U season in Kansas it’s pretty clear that assistants are at the mercy of the head coach they are tied to. Of course I wish he had stayed, but given hours to decide on an ultimatum from Kiffin - the coach his career is tied to - I understand it

We see the incentive in lanes contract for the playoff being fulfilled by LSU and also the buyout for him.
I wonder if that factored into this where lsu wasn't going to do playoff bonus for him. on top of cwj buyout. maybe this saves them money or is a financial gain for CWJ. it will definitely behoove him to do well in the playoff from a future job perspective.
