Im not saying it’s bad. I agree that we have a need to have some stability here and that’s worth more than any “frick you for leaving” is worth. I was just confused as to what was going on.

Considering we were gutted on the offensive side, this was needed. We will find a new OC in the offseason.

We went 11-1 with only 4 returning starters and a D2 quarterback as our starter. Seems like he was pretty dialed in

You can also thank our defense for stepping up in games when it counted. This season wasn’t only won because of the offense.

I also don’t think you’re fully able to understand the point I’m trying to make right now.

Very true Defense is where a lot of the games was on.. Reason keeping Pete is good. Gators and Egg Bowl both won with defense not totally offense

If we are allowing staff members to coach then leave after the playoff, then why the frick did we tell Lane he couldn’t?

I’m not saying I wanted Lane to coach the playoff but if you’re going to allow his assistants following him to do the same, then you may as well let him too

Because our whole playoff run would have been an LSU commercial and he would have poached our players. CWJ isn't the same threat. It's simple if you don't lose your head about it. CWJ also didn't threaten Keith.

Henry pls relax. We’re doing the best we can to give these players a shot without torpedoing our program.

If you let Kiffin stick around he’d still have been the boss doing whatever the hell he wanted. Weis isn’t the boss. Golding is. The dynamics are entirely different.

You have to admit that the thought of Kiffin having to endure what would be thrown at him on the Walk of Champions would have been classic.

I'm still not sure he's coming. There are hints of "be patient" from the 247 crew like there may be something coming but it's not quite done yet? LSU "allowing" him to coach CFP run and the school putting up the image of our staff signifying some stability is likely PR before the CFP Committee decides where we land.

Hypothetical situation I have thought of - like Neal said he was glad Bama won Iron Bowl because this didn't go on any longer and everyone got to rip off the band aid.

What happens though if Knox and Oxford beat Tupelo - does Lane drag this out another week?

You did not see the fumble he had in that game did you.. He force his own fumble to lose that game.

Good gosh you need a timeout. You would sell your soul for an Ole Miss moment.

It is not that deep, you know we had to let Hugh Freeze go and Lane go. Quit hitching your arse to men of questionable morals.

When someone of “good morals” does more than 6-8 wins max a year, then I will. Until then I don’t give a frick who it is, I want to win and not just be competitive
