Just wait til Lane has his Kentucky moment at night in Tiger Stadium in 2027. Their current AD is basically a glorified bagman so he won't be the boss but whoever is will say 'Lane you have to fire CW Jr now for going 1-11 on 3rd down !' No meeting. No PIP. Just fire his arse and you're calling all the plays now ! Think about it, Hairston came off the board in the 1st round for the Wildcats and that good Dlineman for them went in the 4th or 5th. We had 8 players drafted and lost to them at home. We were better than them at ~20/22 positions on the field in the two deep. This current Rebel team isn't as talented as last year's and they've overachieved but they beat Washington State, again a team we're better than at about 21/22 positions on the field, 24-21 and they had the ball in hand at the end.

I thought about that Oklahoma one today. Thought about that offensive egg he laid in The Swamp against Bayou Billy when they had two full weeks to prepare as well. Coming into this season Kelly had won 29 games his last 3 years and had a Heisman winner and an SECCG feather in his hat. How many games had Lane won those same 3 seasons ? I'll tell you this. He didn't make it to ATL or have a Heisman winner. Lane's mind is brilliant at the end of the day and he definitely sees 11 vs 11 on the field without having to watch a replay. But say he misses the playoff in 2026 and 2027 down there ? All his assistants are fired at that point. Everybody. Then it's do or die time year 3 or they're rolling out the Cajun guillotine that still has syphilis stains on it from the last two guys.

I’m seeing on On3 that Lane Kiffin offered the players $7 million to come with him today, and LSU sent 3 planes.

I'm not even sure he can do that. While it may go to court eventually, for now, the revenue sharing changes coming next season along with the introduction of an NIL clearinghouse are going to change the way money is flying around next year a lot. It will probably bring the bagman back as well, but money will work a lot different next year, at least above the table.

The Golding hire is the first time i am truly against him on something. It makes zero sense especially when we were told it was to retain our staff and players.
By the way, we have been told we kept all the offensive staff the whole afternoon. But no names have been released other than Joe Judge

Whether or not Lane is able to do that doesn’t mean he didn’t say it. His objective was to sow discord and division at each level of this team since he couldn’t be the guy in the playoff.
