I’m struggling to understand why Keith would look bad here. He’s done everything short of firing the guy which would harm us even worse than him just leaving. He’s tarnished Lane’s carefully composed reputation and lane is lashing out now.

When I saw 9am I thought the same thing as you. Not happening. It's North Mississippi and half the team and all the coaches go to church on Sunday mornings. Lane can start cleaning out his office with his family and personal assistant this morning while everyone goes to worship. I hope he gives a respectful speech and shows them all gratitude and doesn't make it about himself. Only get one chance to do this and don't want any poison darts thrown. This has been a very mutually beneficial relationship the last 6 years. But autists can be like toddlers. You never know what they're going to say at any moment.
