LSU’s smoking gun was a big, board approved contract & lots of $$$ for NIL, the Ole Miss counter is no problem we will match.

At the end of the day, this is still a negotiation for the betterment of both Ole Miss & Lane Kiffin. And make no mistake the additional money coming into our program due to Lane’s competing offers is good for Ole Miss. The deck is stacked in our favor to retain Lane. Heed KC’s words and focus on going 1-0 this week, the rest will sort itself out.

I’m canceling my on3 subscription after Saturday. I didn’t realize how completely out of the loop those guys are. It’s no different than talking to all of us on here but I like y'all way more.

That’s the thing to remember….at the end of the day, we just want what’s best for Ole Miss. the best thing would be for this all to be nothing but smoke and mirrors with the coaches and players all on board and ready to go. Players can be pretty vocal and let their social media tell the story. So far, we haven’t really seen much of anything other than that Lacy retweet which may or may not mean anything.

I see a lot of posts saying Lane wants to leave, but might not be able to, and man, that rubs me the wrong way. Boomer me hates it, but “frick it let’s ball” me gets it.

LSU was a mid level to decent program (sound familiar) before Saban showed up and he stayed there long enough to put them on the map with a national championship. LSU rode that wave for a little over 15 years and since 2019 have reverted back to hot garbage.

I can forgive kiffin but will not forget. Once the program breaks through then the horns can come out. I would like get a natty in my lifetime. Lol
